I dont usually go to this location and unfortunately I will have to avoid it now due to the strong "air freshener" fragrance that was being used throughout the store. A growing number of people like myself are extremely sensitive to scents and fragrances, they cause debilitating things like Asthma attacks and migraines, etc. I feel bad for the animals that live in the store and have to breathe those chemicals 24/7 until someone takes them home. I dont know how the human employees tolerate it either. I rushed to find and purchase the items I went there to get to get out of the store as quickly as possible, ended up having an Asthma flare up anyway. The bag of food I purchased I had to transfer the kibble into a different container and throw the bag away because it was so heavily scented with the store fragrance. I wish more companies would discourage their stores from using scent pumping systems, they are completely unnecessary.

It is nice to have a full fledged pet store nearby, but I find myself less impressed with this place each time I go. I really wish they would close their saltwater fish section because they clearly dont know what theyre doing. Its depressing seeing what should be beautiful fish reduced to pale masses huddled in the corner of the tank waiting for death to mercifully come. The brand of dog food I buy is $12- $15 more per 35 lb bag here than at a store about 10 minutes away. While they do price match, Id prefer to drive a bit further and give my business to someone who didnt try to gouge me in the first place. Their aquarium supplies are lightly stocked and often sold out. I wont be back unless Im in a real pinch.

Incredibly nice people. I just stopped in for dog food and ended up having her nails done as there was another couple who came after me and said they didnt take their dog anywhere else. Mine is sooo hard to handle I decided to stay and watch and the girl was great with her, even said she flinched on the back leg so was more careful and sure enough she had jumped wrong the day before and I forgot to tell her but she was still careful and suggested she might be injured. And this girl is a new groomer and under the tutelage of another woman there who was right next to her so even if she had a problem she had help if needed. I really liked it. And the cashier ladies helped me out to my car with my dog food.

I always love shopping here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They price match with THEIR online store pricing. So i always get slamming online deals in store! Like yesterday I got a $175 kitty mansion for $89 because i looked on petcos website and saw it was on sale for more online than it was in store. They also take back treats and food your pet doesnt like. So its never a losing situation for the customer.

The employees at Lake Stevens Petco genuinely cared about my dog and his food allergies so much so that they walked me through how to rule out ingredients and find the perfect food for my pet. I can now happily say they helped me find the right fit for my dogs food sensitivities and I have a happy, healthy pup.

Since acquiring our new kitten and puppy, they have been very helpful in getting us what we need. The staff seems very knowledgeable, there is always someone there who knows dogs or cats, along with more exotic pets. Sometimes a bit pricey, but they will match their internet pricing.
