I have been going to Everyday Athlete (EA) since I moved in the area 6 years ago. EA is a great local active retail store that fits perfect in the Kirkland / Juanita Bay Community. The Owners and their Team are friendly, inviting, genuine, knowledgeable and down to earth people. EA is unique because theyre involved in the running and triathlete community by putting together running clubs, races and workshops. From what Ive seen, EA strategically picks high-rated and quality selection of shoes, active clothing, and triathlete-gear. Its not intimidating or overwhelming like other places - so its easier for you to make decisions. They have a lot running shirts, shorts, gear options for females due to their high demand, however, I think EA can improve by providing a wider selection of male active running clothes (shirts/shorts/gear, etc.). So Males... come in a buy more clothes to make it a demand for EA to bring in more selections! :) I highly recommend Everyday Athlete to all levels of runners, triathletes and general active people!

Over the past 5 years, I have purchased all my running and triathlon gear from Kirklands Everyday Athlete. There are more convenient stores for me but no one has the knowledge and passion for what they do like Everyday Athlete. Making sure you are getting in the right shoes is paramount in beginning to train for any event and the time spent at Everyday Athlete had me a step ahead of everyone else in my training group. Why? I had the best shoes for my gait as well as all the running apparel to have me comfortable in all weather conditions. Working with the good people at Everyday Athlete gave me the confidence to get started and were there to answer any questions I had along the way. Truly a shopping experience unrivaled! I cant recommend them more highly.

I havent picked up my shoes yet, but they special ordered them for me. The guy who helped me, showed me shoes that were similar to ones I already loved and that fit my running "style". He brought out a quite a few different pairs. The other guy made a bunch of suggestions in ways they could find the shoes I wanted, since they didnt currently have them. I didnt feel pressured to buy. But at the same time they were so nice, knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time on me, I wanted to make sure they got something out of it. They were even polite while I rambled randomness at them. So far, I like them.

Yesterday I was looking to buy some Cross Country spikes for my daughter and found Everyday Athelte by searching the internet. I was a little concerned when I read the review about them having a limited selection of "xc and track spikes". We decided to go anyway and was very happy we did as we found them to have more cross country spikes than the other stores we shopped at. And better yet the help with fitting the shoes was top notch. Our family will go there first next time we need shoes!

My wife and I are beginner runners, and I cant say enough how glad I am we went to EA. Not only is the service and selection outstanding, but each of us had issues with a pair of shoes we bought, and were re-fitted and exchanged, no problem! Although we did have our reciepts, we were not asked for them, as the staff remembered us. Now, two months later, my wife and I are in the right equipment, pain free, and running our first 5K on 9/18 in Tacoma! Thank you so much, EA!!

Owners are knowledgeable and service is good. Sometimes a couple of the employees seem a little bit less skilled at shoe-fitting, but its far from a major problem. Prices are good. The shoe selection (especially xc and track spikes) seems a little bit limited compared to some other stores, but they can special-order whatever you need. Ive never done a triathlon (I hope, soon, though), but it seems like the best place locally to get outfitted for a tri (wetsuit, etc.).

After a trip to Super Jock n Jill I was having trouble with the shoes they "fit" me for. At Everyday Athlete I received personal, detailed help in finding the right shoes. They have the experience at Everyday Athlete that you wont find with many of the young employees at Super Jock n Jill. From now on this is my running store. Professional, helpful, service and its located on the Eastside. Thank you to Everyday Athlete. These guys/gals rock.

The name speaks for itself. Excellent locally owned store for athletes of all levels. Owners and staff are knowledgable, friendly and patient. They actively seek to share their knowledge, enthusiasm and love of running, swimming and biking with anyone who is interested. Its not just a business to them. Its a way of life. They also have a great focus on giving back to the community through many different events, charities and volunteer efforts.

No need to go anywhere else! The best! I have visited this shop several times over the last couple of months in training for my first marathon and I wouldnt have been able to do it without these guys! The friendly experts on staff not only worked with me to find the best shoes for me, they also answered all my silly questions and gave me great advice to help me succeed in my race! Ill never go anywhere else...this is where my friends are!

Len & Lance to a fantastic job with their runners and walkers. As a physical therapist in Kirkland I have worked with them since 2009. They have all the brands and apparel you will need and a very knowledgeable and never pushy sales team. Could not recommend them high enough! Keep up the great work EA!

This store has very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Plus, they support many school programs and local events. Visit the team to get "fitted" for your next running/walking shoes, sports bra or learn about techniques to keep your body healthy and safe on the roads and trails.
