After the third Napa starter (Lifetime Warranty) failed in my truck, I went to Napa in Renton, WA (the main branch store) to purchase another starter. "Unfriendly, rude, doesnt like his job" Paxton, who has helped me before, had to sell me a re manufactured starter because they were out of stock (all stores in the area also out of stock - "big red flag") but I could keep my lifetime warranty. This was highlighted on my most recent receipt. I had all my receipts with me back to 09. I replaced the starter which indeed fixed the problem again and the truck started right up! After, boxing the bad starter back up, I returned to Napa to get my full refund (lifetime warranty right??). I put the bad starter on the counter and explained the situation to the manager of the store (Mick)! He started to question the return/refund "well, we dont have starters fail like this" "this starter is hot" So, here we go.....I didnt argue with him and was completely professional about the issue. He took forever to review my receipts and made me wait for at least 15 minutes, leaving the area and came back to the counter and said, "there you go" full refund for you. I said thanks and went to the cashier to get the refund and the amount was incorrect. There was an $18.40 difference between what I paid for the starter that day and the refund. I then, had to go back to Mick and have the refund adjusted so I thought. He first told me I would have to wait as he was helping another customer! WOW! Once, I went back to the counter, he again, made me wait, left the area several times, and said he lost my receipt. Mick acted so rude, unprofessional, and just awful to deal with! After waiting multiple times in the parts line and the cashier line I had been there over an hour to receive my refund I told Mick I would take the refund he originally gave me! This was just the worst experience in a store I have had in a very long time! Napa Renton stole $18.40 from me did not honor my lifetime warranty! I have spent thousands of dollars on parts at Napa, but have to say our relationship has now ended! I will never return to the Renton Napa or any other Napa ever again. The customer service and the quality of their parts is severely lacking! Goodbye Napa!

Last week I went to this NAPA and bought front and rear brake rotors and pads as well as a turn signal light and a bottle of power steering fluid for my 2010 Subaru Outback Sport. I know this is a hard car to get the right parts for so I made sure they looked it up both under the Outback and the Impreza (the Outback Sport is an Impreza) to compare the part numbers. I was reasonably certain with this added bit of knowledge that the professionals there would find the correct rotor. After spraying off the cosmoline with brake cleaner I attempted to install the front rotors. They were too big because NAPA gave me the wrong rotors. I ran over to Autozone, which was closer to where I was working on my car and got the correct parts, thinking I could just return the rotors to NAPA when convenient. I went to NAPA today to return the rotors which had a little rust on them due to a lack of cosmoline protecting them, but no gouges, warping or damage that would prevent their use. They just needed a little clean up. NAPA refused to give me a refund. They said I had to return tomorrow when a store manager was present, which would be a big drain on my time since I live in Tacoma (I work in Kent and it was easier to go there when I initially got the parts). I protested that none of this would have happened if they gave me the correct parts in the first place but they still wouldnt take the return. Its completely ridiculous that they cant return a part despite its condition when it was their error in the first place. I left the parts on the counter and stormed out of the store and Im never going back. They can keep their rotors and their $50 or whatever it was just so I dont have to deal with their bullshit again.

BAD SERVICE!!!!!! GO TO ANOTHER NAPA!! I took a Napa battery to check. The lady tested and told me is dead. So I drop the battery to be charge and pick the next day. Next day in the morning one of the employe say wasnt plug correctly to be charge, so i back home and call 3 hours later the person on the phone told me: Your battery not work you have to buy a new one... I bought this battery at another Napa store 3 or 4 months ago so was under 18 months Napa warranty. The guy told me if you dont have the receipt we cannot exchange, If I go to the store where I bought they may can find the receipt and exchange... I went to the Napa store where i bough and they are check and told me nothing is wrong the battery is 100% charge. WASTE THE TIME go to this Napa store......

Unhelpful! Bought a battery tie down to secure my battery to the car. Went to the service desk and asked for some help installing it, since I dont own the right tool. Wouldnt help, not at all... Even rude about it too. Ive been to many other auto parts stores, and theyve always been helpful. Especially for a quick job like this one. Dont expect me to come back to this place anytime soon

Over priced but they do have parts. Their specials are not really all that special. This is the distribution center. Most of the employees are kind and genuinely want to help. The 4 star rating is attributable to lack of value. Example, I purchased 32 oz. Lucas fuel treatment for $12 and change...Walmart had exact same stuff for $8.99. Walmart, not exactly a go to auto parts store.

Extremely slow on the phone and in store. Prepare to be on hold and wait in line for long periods of time. No sense of urgency from anyone. Warehouse is large and has everything I need generally and prices are good and I like the quality. Management needs to work on some team training and have employees communicate better.

Tiene amplia, no todo está a la mano, tienes que hablar con alguien para que te dé lo que necesites, pero encuentras prácticamente de todo.

Called this store and specifically asked if they could flash the pcm on for my truck. They said yes. Brought it in and they said they would not due to not buying through them. My business along with the company I work for, Pape machinerys business, will go elsewhere.

Really helpful, knowledgeable staff, more so than most auto part stores Ive been to, and a huge warehouse connected to the shop. Im guess a distribution hub of some kind. If youre in the area, and not 100% sure what you need, they will help you out.

Called. Way too busy for the phones! Could really improve their ability to communicate needs some improvement. Be ready to wait, and wait on the phone. Once you get the right person, things appear to move along in a timely manor!
