Good prices on high volume consumables, but Almost everything else in the store is more expensive than what it was with the old African American owners . The new owners have good customer service but for most bigger ticket items in the store the price is unfortunately significantly higher than it should be. Thankfully lighters and cigarettes are priced pretty low compared to most other stores on the Kent East hill. However a lot of the glassware and vaporizing items are priced excessively high and as a result act as a double edged sword that hurts this store. Due to the high price of many of the items in here they are no longer moving at a reasonable volume, a smaller portion of the population is either able to afford or pay this premium. As a result all the overpriced items now sit on the shelf due to low sales volume, and invariably the owners have neither the capital with which to purchase new stock or the real estate on their shelves to store any new inventory. Despite the very varied assortment of products, they have remained unchanged and have become relatively bland and now dated compared to selections you might find at other locations which have lower prices and and are able to move their products not only faster but can afford to upgrade them as time passes with new inventory.

I just realized that every pack of gambler tobacco products i have purchased are all over three years old. started checking the dates after buying the smaller big bag and after getting home realized it was bone dry all the way through and the date says 2010. I would have bought the ;largest bag but they were out. My girlfriend and I have spent well over a thousand dollars worth the tobacco products and glass from this vendor in the last 6 months alone, and one thousand is a very low ball figure, It leaves me wondering if the lady who runs the store is purchasing out of date tobacco wholesale and saving an extra penny as opposed to buying direct from the product manufacturer. Unfortunately there is not sell by date on tobacco but I still feel its business is as bad the taste left in my mouth. I may have to take my money across the street next to the old alberstons. My girl and I used to swear up and down on this shop. now im just swearing about them.

I felt welcome,not rushed. both employees knew about the products I inquired about. The selections were a lot bigger of everything compared to several other shops and prices were really reasonable.My purchase was even wrapped in bubble wrap for me. I was needing a couple items that cant be bought at the 7-11 or Safeway and it was Sunday afternoon. I was doubtful about finding a smoke shop open on Sunday not alone after 6. Anyway I had a very good experience at the Benson Smoke Shop today.Im in Maple Valley but I would rather go there than a couple blocks from me cause the employees were all that. Thanks Antonett

Employee wanted us to leave because he had things he needed to do in the back of the store, and seemed irritated that we were even there. He didnt want to allow us any time to browse, was on his cellphone the entire time, and was very rude. Its very unfortunate as the store itself seems very nice, but why have a store open if you dont want customers? Wont be going back here again.

The Gentlemen that assisted me and my girlfriend was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable, welcomed and not judged the entire time of our stay. I would definitely recommend this smoke shop over others and will be going here many more times. It also has a large variety of products that others do not. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

Good selection. Always have what I need and employees are always nice/knowledgeable and one thing in particular- Ive never felt rushed out of there. I can walk in 5 minutes before they close and itll still feel like I came in during the middle of the day. Thats a huge plus. No one likes to be rushed.

Called to see if they carry any of my friendss favorite cigars. The man who answered the phone was very rude and refused to check on them. He told me I have one hour to get to the store and look for myself. I would never give these people any money.

Great little, clean environment. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Love this store. My go-to smoke shop. Cheaper than all the other smokes hops in town. Good variety of items. Dont have to see porn all-over like all the other smokes hops in Kent.
