The rudest man works here! His name is Bill. I come in all the time and buy sturdy hiking socks for my job (usually with no problem). I bought some hiking socks here the other day (they were on sale near the register area) and one of the pairs was too big for my feet. I brought it back in to exchange it for another smaller sized pair. I go up to the counter and let the girl running the register know I had a return. She gets what I assume was the supervisor (Bill) and tells him I have a return. While she does this Im looking at the socks on sale to find another pair to exchange. Bill comes up and says in the rudest, snarkiest voice imaginable "ARE YOU READY YET, I GUESS NOT" and turns his back to me. At this point Im flustered and confused as to why he is being rude to me. I said I was ready and that I decided to only do a return (Im not sticking around and giving them more money at that point). He could tell I was disgruntled at that point. He sighs and keys in a code on the girls cash register. By the way, she seemed super awkward about the whole situation but didnt say anything. I wont be returning to this store.

Horrible experience, we had a pair of womens hiking boots put on hold for me since our local big 5 didnt have my size, we drove 50 minutes to the store they were on hold at and they were never put on hold and no one can find them. Thanks a lot big 5, we probably wont be coming back. I needed them today and did all that driving for nothing

Lots of gear of all types. I like to get sneakers here. Selection and price are usually really good. I also come here for stocking stuffers and Christmas gifts for the ones on my list who likes these kind of things. Was a good place to come when the power went out for outdoor cooking equipment and lighting.

When to this store and get double charge on my card for the same item. Keeping going back so that they can fix it since its there mistake only to be told I needed to call a certain 1800 number. I was really pissed up till the time of writing this review its not yet fixed. Am done with big 5.

Pretty nice store but they need more employees in the shoe Dept when I needed help I had to go all over the store to find someone and one of the employee was a little stressed out and he let me know he was.
