I bought my first HD TV from their Sterling, VA store in 2003, a very nice Mitsubishi 65". That very nice TV died two weeks ago after a power hit. (I did have a surge protector, but when you have a 13 year old HDTV, it doesnt always work. Plus, they do need to be replaced every 5 or 6 years to ensure they protect you.) I did quite a lot of internet research on the latest technology and looked at TVs in Costco, Best Buy, Amazon, and several more online stores When I went to The Big Screen Store in Kernstown, VA, next to Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, I met James, James Magnotti III. After I spent a few minutes checking out the displays, James introduced himself, asked me several questions about my desires and needs. He then asked if I wanted more information about his products. He gave a very knowledgeable and concise lecture on the different technologies and advancements in the HDTV & SUHD TVs (4K) over the last few years. Based on my years of experience and research, everything he said corresponded to my understanding, i.e., no BS. He answered all my questions. After about 45 minutes, considering what I saw in the other showrooms, and looking at the total cost of the SUHD that best met my parameters, I said "lets do it". Two days later, I had my Samsung KS8000 65" TV delivered by a very competent pair of delivery/installation people. They were right on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. (sorry guys, I forgot to get your names, but I hope management appreciates you). I am a bit of a Scotsman when it comes to spending. Even though the prices were comparable to most others, I might have been able to get a little bit lower, but the quality of service more than made up for a few dollars. When you are spending a considerable sum on an entertainment product, there are a lot of variables. Having someone who knows their products and services and is able to communicate knowledge can save you a considerable amount of time and aggravation. I highly recommend James Magnotti III as a sales advisor and The Big Screen Store for their products and services. (I also got a great deal on the Samsung 4K Blu-Ray player)

My wife and I are in the process of finishing a house in WV. We had a certain amount of our tax refund money set aside to purchase a TV (and accessories). On the recommendation of some of my family who live in Annapolis, we contacted the Big Screen Store and were connected with Shae from the Winchester office. We corresponded back and forth with Shae over a 6-week period. During this time, I was nothing but impressed with Shaes helpfulness and professionalism. It started from the first phone call. Many salesmen will initially try to "sell what weve got, not what they want." Instead, before giving any advice at all, Shae began by asking me many questions. "How big is your living room? When do you do most of your TV watching? What type of programming do you watch most?" etc. After a few minutes, when he felt he had a good handle on our specific needs, THEN he said, "Okay, based on what youve told me, HERES what Id recommend..." Of course, I immediately trusted him because of this. He was patient with us through the process as we sorted out our budget. He went over and above in arranging delivery to my elderly grandparents in Annapolis until we could pick the items up, and helping me facilitate the purchase through relatives (living out of state, they were unable to take my payment over the phone). What could have been a nightmare became a very easy process. Because of the trust I had in Shaes expertise and the patience he had shown in getting to know me and my specific needs, it was easy for me to purchase a wall mount, blu-ray player, and Bose sound system from him as well when he recommended them. I know companies hear too many horror stories of terrible customer service, and I wanted to take the opportunity to praise one of your salesman for an outstanding job earning our business. He was the sole reason we chose the Big Screen Store for our purchase.

We bought our first Samsung tv from James at the Big Screen store in Winchester in February of 2015 and were really impressed with his knowledge and his help with that purchase. Now fast forward to the present, unfortunately we started having some issues with the tv and got in contact with James, we tried several options and the hard reboot several times to no avail. Finally just this week, James contacted us and let us know that not only were we getting a replacement tv, but a 2016 upgraded model from the one we had. Honestly, we were not expecting that, but were very glad to hear that news. James was great to work with through all this and he contacted corporate in our behalf, thus securing this new tv and I might add that he is having the new one delivered to us and pick up of the older one for absolutely no charge. Would I recommend James and the Big Screen store? That would be a 110% definite yes. Thank you James for going that extra mile for us, we will be forever grateful.

I have had a great experience with the Winchester store over the last 2 years. I have brought 4 tvs and Bose surround sound along with many Sonos speakers and sound bar. I worked with James and he has helped me decide on which system works for me. He and Forrest have great knowledge of your product line. It is great that you also price match for getting to touch all clients finance needs. James has worked with me when I had some issue even when it was not his problems. This is the type of service as a customer we need. I have sent many of my friends to James because of his sales approach and knowledge. James Magnotti is awesome. I bought my first 75inch tv from James 8 years ago and that tv is still working I bought it yesterday. It was time to upgrade so I went to see James and ike first time James made me an offer I couldntt refuse. A nice 82inch samsung, Bose surround audio, and Palasar movie theater seating. All at an unbeatable price. Most important to me was James salesmanship. Very professional, knowledgeable, and never pressured me. I highly recommend the Big Screen store and James for all your television and home entertainment needs. The Big Screen store focuses on customer satisfaction, great deals and quality products.

Our sales consultant, James Magnotti III, really knew his merchandise and presented it in a clear but not pushy manner. He was very understanding about our lack of knowledge and never pushed anything on us. He certainly made us want to come back to The Big Screen Store and recommend it to others. It was a very pleasant experience. The delivery crew members were pleasant and efficient. They did a good job setting up the merchandise. We would have appreciated more instruction on operating the system but realize that wasnt their responsibility.

If we could leave a rating higher than 5 we would! James assisted us in selecting the perfect TV. He was very knowledgeable and there wasnt any pressure. He presented the facts and let us decide for ourselves. He patiently explained information to my wife when she had questions. Even though their store is 45 minutes, he has made us a lifetime customer and recommend others shop there as well. The prices, warranty, and customer service cant be matched anywhere else!
