I bought a couch before moving to Texas. The sales manager knew I was moving and talked me in to buying the extra warranty because it would take care of me out of state. With in a month of having the couch the frame broke and the stitching on the seat is coming a part. I was then informed the warranty wouldn’t cover me cause I am outta of state. If I wanted coverage I would have to return the couch to Virginia. I am a government contractor, for Air Force. I just moved here to cover their contract here. I can’t just drive a couch from TX to VA, especially since the couch has been discontinued. I bought the couch 6/25/2015 for $1213.31 The Sales manager that sold it to me name was Woody. I paid an extra $ 99.99 for the warranty through Grand Furnitures warranty company Montag. I filed a claim with them on 08/2015 Claim a few days later, a man came out to fix the couch. He fixed one board in the head rest that was broken but was unable to fix the frame. Said he would need to order the part. 09/28/ 2015 I got a letter in the mail from Montage saying they have been trying to get a hold of me. My phone shows zero missed calls. Any way I called them back 09/29/2015 and spoke with Jen in the discontinued department. She (Jen) told me they couldn’t fix the couch unless I brought it back to VA. Since I can’t do that they would refunded me $79 what they say I paid for insurance. I called Grand Furniture to let them know what was going on. I was told I still need to make all payments, to bad so sad they can’t help, but let me transfer you to woody(sales Manager) so he can explain to you. I got transferred to his voice mail and have called back several times today but just get transferred to his voice mail over and over again. I left one message for him to call me ASAP . The Only reason I bought this couch before I left was because of the sales tactics used by the sales manager Woody, telling me that the warranty would cover me out of state. If I would have known that I had no coverage or limited coverage out of state I would of never paid extra for the warranty or bought the couch.

Came into this store on May 13 and paid CASH for TWO QUEEN bedroom SETS. The sales rep LIED about pricing and when questioned about it he said " oh your good, its good to ask questions". We we promised a delivery date of June 23. They called ONE day before they were to deliver the furniture and said that one of the headboards to the bedroom set was broke upon arrival. They then promised to have it delivered on July 2. On July 3 after NOT hearing anything from them, we decided to pay them a visit. Was able to speak to the "manager" Mike who made a promise of delivery on July19. It is now JULY 21 and AGAIN they have not called. I have paid them another visit. The manager doesnt understand why we are upset but promises to have the items delivered by JULY 25th. Which Im sure is not going to happen. I will be getting my lawyer involved at this point... But my suggestion to all wanting to shop at this location... DONT DO IT! They are a bunch of scammers and have lies for days ready to tell you! You will NEVER get your furniture from them! They suck!

UPDATE: I previously left a good review because I was happy with my sales associate Candy. However, six months later and my couch is making a terrible squeaking noise like the board is messed up every time someone sits on one end. (I am never home and when I do use the couch I only sit on the opposite end of where the issue is) I spent way too much money on this couch for it to be having issues already. My couch looks brand new and I take care of my furniture. I filed a claim with the company who works with Grand and have left COUNTLESS messages to have a technician come fix the problem since I have a warranty. The people wont call me back and this is a complete joke. I am paying on a couch I that is defective! Will NEVER purchase from Grand again. Paying this off ASAP to get rid of it. POd customer.

We just moved to the area and had been looking for the right furniture for our apartment for over a week. After being to so many stores we felt like we were never going to find what we were looking for. Once we stopped here the sales rep. was very inviting and did not follow us around the store like a vulture. We found what we were looking for and ever thing was smooth sailing from there. The only hick up we had was the our couch was back ordered and we had to wait an extra week for it. We were informed a head of time however.Both the delivery teams were very nice and put everything were we wanted it.

The sales person was nice but other than that my experience has been horrible. They told me my furniture would be available Thursday of last week 09/29. I took the time off work and reserved a truck only to find out that not all the furniture was there. So after i scheduled for it to be delivered Im now being told my furniture wont be delivered until 10/6 and I wont know when until the night before. This is beyond inconvenient and not one person has apologized for my experience. I just moved into a new city and my apartment has no furniture. Ill never do business here again or recommend it.

Worst place ever.. Do not go here, do not make your life miserable. They suck big time, they are gonna give a 4 hr delivery time frame as if customers dont have anything else to do, and I bought my furniture with cash and paid for everything up front so there should be no reason for me to be begging for my delivery. Customer service is horrible and the manager is also a waste of time. Wish I could give negative 5 stars because they are the worst. Wouldnt even recommend my worst enemy to go here and shop either.

Got a deal on a living room set in 2014. 2 months later two springs had pop and they sent over a maintenance guy to fix the problem. Now in 2016, I have 3 popped springs and a broken wooden part. I had a maintenance guy come to fix it and he said it cant be fixed. The warranty group said my couches have been discontinued. I live in Florida now so theres no way to take it back. To have 2 broken couches within 2 years is unacceptable! I do not recommend this place at all. Its cheap and for a good reason.

Came in to look for a perfect furniture and Mike the guy that helped us kept referring us to go to walmart instead. I was trying to describe the features I was looking for in a furniture and he just shut me off by saying "I know that". I cant believe what I was hearing. I came to their store looking to buy real furnitures not walmarts pressed wood. Does he think I have no money to pay him? The way he acted is so unprofessional. They deserve a negative rating.
