NO ONES IN CHARGE HERE!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY...YOU DESERVE MUCH BETTER SERVICE!!!! Corporate Wal-mart should shut this store down. Store#02438 has got to be very worst store in the region. The store Manager has no authority over his staff and feels uncomfortable correcting employees that go against corporate policies. (He just wants to be known as the friendly guy with his staff and lets his staff make decisions as they please when faced with customer related issues.) Customer service used to be Wal-Marts Bottomline. Poorly managed stores like this one show how the open customer service policy Wal-Mart used to behold no longer exist. The store is always filthy and unorganized starting from the parking lot. Inside the store there are flats and large rolling racks all over the store making shopping a challenge or uncomfortable. They are constantly out of stock and the employees are unhelpful when asked to assist in locating or search of items that are stored in the back. Ive seen older adults (not adolescents) employees running horse playing or being dangerously reckless and purposely trying to run customers or scare their children with rolling racks. In addition to seeing them standing around talking and openly eating store samples. The sarcasm, belittling attitude and power trip from the CSRS/ CSMS have is unprecendented for a chain retail store. I pity those people Exhanging or Returning items with or without a receipt. Ive witnessed the customer service reps arguing and challenging to provoke customers in a daring manner and blatantly treating the non English speaking customers disrespectfully. The tire and lube center is a joke no one is certified and professionally trained to do anything in that department. They will destroy your vehicles engine on a simple oil change and deny ever working on your car. There isnt a manager on site to check the quality of their employees work. As stated before, No one is in charge at this store...No steps up to be responsible, enforce policy or customer service.

The store was very busy with lots of kids, some of whom werent using their inside screams. I guess their "parents" didnt hear them or care that others could. This is in no way a reflection on Walmart, it is the same way in every store because the term "parents" is not exactly correct, they are actually friends who just happened to have given birth to the little darlings. I feel sorry for the poor employees who are trying to get stock on the shelves, etc. with kids running amok and crashing into them. I think I might try shopping late at night or early in the morning before the little creatures are unleashed to create havoc on the world. One other thing I noticed, and this is a particular pet peeve because it raises the prices in stores for everyone, people pick up something frozen or maybe from the meat dept. and decide later they dont want it, so instead of taking it back to the place where they got it, they just put it down somewhere and walk away. This means that the store has to throw it away and count it as a loss. Those losses go against the bottom line and are deducted from the profit margin. If the store isnt making the right profit margin they either cut jobs or increase prices. Neither of these things are good for the community, customers or employees. This doesnt just happen in this Walmart, unfortunately, it is an epidemic in this country.

I entered the establishment and loved the decor. Place looks great!! I walked to the pick up center and no one was there. Someone was waiting to be served in front of me. I waited for about 2 minutes when I noticed an employee on the PC in the back. I asked " Is this the pick up area?" he looked at me with disdain and said "someome will be right with you." He then looked at me with a "why are you bothering me" face. As he began to talk into the walkie-talkie to request for help and I got the impression I was bothering him. I could tell the young man in front of me had been waiting for awhile as well. wrong answer!! so my initial thought was, this was a regular employee who was on break or probably doing training. low and behold this was a assitant manager!! I calmly recommended to the Manager that customer service was priority #1 in the retail business and if a customer approaches him, he should be able to handle the issue. I added that if he wasnt trained, he should be. He explained that he wasnt trying to be rude but his body language and rhetoric (as a Deptlatment Head I can see the signs after decades of practice) told otherwise. I hope the Managers are being trained . I do love the fact that my hostess was wearing a walmart cape!! That was awesome!! People first!! Train your managers Wal-Mart.

Brought my Tahoe in for a spare tire swap. The truck cargo area was filled to the roof with luggage as we were on a cross country trip. The luggage was clearly visible as it blocked the entire rear window . Despite this fact, and without consulting with me, they opened the rear hatch dumping items, including fragile souvenirs and such all over the ground. They said they were looking for a tool. Again, they couldve asked rather than jeopardize my property. I didnt even have the "tool" they were looking for. They eventually located a tool amongst their own inventory used to lower the spare. Very poor choices were made in my opinion. Simply asking me if I had the tool and not taking the risk of opening the rear hatch which was very obviously very packed would have eliminated the risk to my fragile property loaded in the rear. Common sense seemed to be nonexistent with the guy Chris who foolishly opened the rear hatch.

UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE: Solomon, the auto dept. mngr., went ABOVE & BEYOND for me. While sitting in oil-change line early on Saturday morning, I asked if they had coffee in the waiting room bc Id shot out the door without any caffeine this morning. He went & BREWED ME A POT IN THE EMPLOYEE LOUNGE AND ESCORTED ME THERE TO POUR A CUP!!! Im almost in tears at this simple, day-saving gesture that was purely an act of kindness, a completely selfless over-the-top customer service experience that one doesnt expect at a Walmart...this was luxury resort VIP type treatment. I will never go anywhere again for any automobile needs. Thank you SOLOMON!
