Crazy traffic, annoying traffic circles (roundabouts) plus a mix of clientele that can sometimes be a bit undesirable. On the other hand, if this is your neighborhood, there is a strong selection of stores all located in one spot. There really arent other shopping options without leaving the area, so its good that this facility exists. As someone who lives 20 minutes or so away, I have alternatives. Without a strong reason to shop at white oak, the negatives outweigh the positives and I generally choose to avoid this shopping center.

We visit a lot of stores here - from Target and JCPenney to Publix and Gamestop. We patronize the eateries in the shopping center as well - especially Qdoba and Longhorn Steakhouse. The only reason I would refrain of awarding five stars is parking. The store in the back of the center have ample parking, but rather wonky ways of getting in and out of the lots. The stores in front near Laburnum have parking that is way too enclosed, making getting into and out of shopping areas difficult during heavy shopping times.

The traffic in this area is terrible. I frequent this area because its the area I live in. Waiting on Publix to open as Martins has gone out of business. They have nice stores for the area. However, if I lived in Westend Henrico, there would be no need to visit this area. I find myself keeping my grocery cold bag in my vehicle so in the event I have business on another side of town, I do my shopping before I come home.

I have to say, I am not really a fan of the stores or this shopping area. It is always busy and the traffic is not organized in any way. The stores I have been to the service has been lackluster and a lot of rude areas. I only shop at these stores if I really have to, but I will avoid it at all cost. I have not had one specific incident here that sticks out, just not impressed at all.

White Oak Village is going down hill fast! Unruly black teens like to hang out in front of the stores playing loud music and running up and down the sidewalk. You definitely do not want to be here at the first of the month! Target, Lowes and Sams is not that bad but the section where Five Below, Bath and Body works, that whole area can be dicey especially in the evening.

A very nice place. But Caucasian skaters & gothly looking teens often meet up here. They are allowed to hang out but security often looks down on african American teens for doing the same. I witness them leave in location & go to another all to stalk the African American teens. #blacklivesmatter

Nice, convenient shopping center. Closest shopping center to Providence Forge. All we have out here are thrift stores. Enjoyed shopping experience at JCPENNY. Nice clothes. Lots on sale. Petite section fairly small, but found many cute things. Overall a good shopping experience.

Awesome area, diverse area here. a ton of stores to choose from such as Sams club, JC Penney, Target, Wells Fargo, 7-Eleven, Panera Bread, Dollar Tree, Red Lobster, Olive Garden. So much to choose from in the area as far as shopping & Dining. Take your pick. Good Comfort zone.

If want trendy and less diverse please go to the west end you’re holding up traffic. White Oak Village is for working class people who want to shop quick and go, I love it. Vets will love Lowes its the only that will ask if you are one and give you a discount.

Shopping options are limited - Besides from a few stores the others are ones you really wouldnt need/want to visit. Theres a JCPennys/Lowes/OfficeMax/Target/SamsClub on the outskirts of the center "Shops at White Oak" they bring in the most traffic.

Poorly designed shopping center. Parking lots for the stores are terrible, and so are the roads traversing them. Only good thing is that there is everything you might need there. Worst thing is the people you have to encounter to enjoy them.

White oak village is a great great place to hang around and do shopping. A wide range of renowned stores, fast food restaurant and hotels with very convenient and spacious parking. I always love to go there whenever I have time.

There a variety of stores and dinning venues here, from Higher end to basic to grab a bite and run. With the new public opening in August, people will be able will once again be able to call White Oak a one stop Shopping Center.

Lots of conveniently located shops here. Big box stores in the back, smaller shops and restaurants in the middle / front. Use caution in the traffic circles tho, since sometimes people dont understand how they work.

Nice to have the variety of shops and restaurants in this part of town. Traffic is heavy on Friday evenings, but isnt that the case for all shopping centers? Target, Lowes, Sams, JCPenny, Panera, etc.

The Kroger there is too small but it is now going up against 3 new grocery stores Walmart Super center, lidl & Publix. They need to modernized and expand but they seem to be land locked.

Attitude of the people suck. Everybody there act like they dont want to work and the shoppers are just rude. Especially DTLR. The employees there act like the only shoe store in the world

White Oak has been an excellent addition to the East side of Richmond. Shops for almost whatever you want or need in a pinch including a Sams Club that generally has great prices on gas.

You can tell by the fact that there are so many places still left for renting that this is not a place people come for serious shopping. The store that are here are not very trendy.
