Pretty limited selection of brands compared to the other outlets in the area. You can easily breeze through this place in an hour or two. "Premium" brands are all located on the High Street and you got your commonplace brands like Gap and Nike and whatnot on the Low Street. The place runs east to west (or vice versa) so its pretty straightforward, impossible to get lost or confused. Most labels here are yesterdays news with little excitement to be found. Tory Burch was by far the biggest hit when this place opened. Seeing how TB they have the primo location the developers were obviously banking on it. You also have the tiredsome MK and Coach which seems to be empty often with good reason. Jimmy Choo has the most depressing store setup it should be criminal. Its where shoes goes to die. Literally, they just have boxes stacked up on the ground in a completely bare store with el cheapo folding chairs here and there. Seriously, pop-up shops put in more effort. As far as I can tell the Uggs is just a regular store with mostly regular prices. There are plenty of far better markdowns on Uggs to be found online, not that I personally wear the hideous things. I personally see this outlet dying out pretty fast. I cant see them thriving with success once this whole new outlet grand opening phase is over. Should have brought in Burberry and lululemon to this outlet. Knowing the crowd in this area people they would have done extremely well. Bonus points for being well maintained, at least for now. Plus, the vibe is pleasant here. Good seating area with overhead coverings. Great little play area for the kids. In concept this should have been a great outlet, just wished for better and larger selection.

The bathrooms were kind of dirty and dont put your hand on the escalators your hand will get covered in grease and it will get everywhere It looks nice but overall when really looking at it it seems kinda dirty and like it was rushed to be put together some of the stores we walked into had floors buckling and the escalator if you tried to walk down the escalator it moved and shook. They cashiers were a bit rude, overall I was quite frankly unimpressed with the whole place If given the choice between these outlets and Hagerstown outlets I will hands down choose Hagerstown The people are way nicer, you can park closer to the stores that you need and is better put together I ended up getting grease all over my hand, my phone and even on my shirt. I was really excited about these outlets and overall unimpressed and unsatisfied.

I had a horrendous visit to this new outlet today. Drove 1 hour to get there only to find out the police had the roads closed for traffic to the mall and signs said the outlet parking was full. (Was this a poor design). Imagine when Black Friday hits or Christmas? I will have to stay away as far as possible. I got rerouted and followed detour signs that seemed to be miles away and they had us park on a grassy area farmland down a dusty rocky dirt road. Had to wait over an hour for the outlet shuttle to get us and I finally gave up. This is a poor design if they cannot handle parking a week after opening. You may want to drive further to Hagerstown and do some shopping. This place is inconvenient and it was a parking nightmare. Never got to visit the mall and finally drove home. A wasted 2 hour ordeal.

Pretty far for the same generic type stores that can be found in Arundel and Potomac Mills. Worth the trip if youre local south of I-70... But not worth it if youre inside of the DMV I-495 loop. Definitely a shorter and more reasonable trip than driving to Hagerstown. Check you GPS to determine if the drive is worth it. Pros: distance based on current location, variety of stores, completely covered shopping center/plaza... Cons: not worth the distance from DC, same stores as Arundel and Potomac Mills, parking is horrible (worst than Potomac, probably not as bad as Arundel), not a wide selection of actual food (I seen Starbucks and an Auntie Annes Pretzels, a food truck near the fountain, and that was it... But I wasnt really looking).

If I could give this a negative review I would. Its back to school and people have a lot to get done. They took the first parking lot and started charging folks $$ to park there. It took me 45 mins to find a DECENT parking space. Not only that, the security is rude! I was waiting to pick up a friend like EVERYONE else does in the shuttle/bus area. The security guy pulled up his car next to mine and started yelling at me about not being there and going to the parking lot... I said what? Why? Im just waiting for someone, he continued to yell about the area being a fire lane??? Which also had no signs saying that it was a fire lane. I felt attacked because there were so many others dropping off and waiting in the same area to pick people up.

This mall is fantastic. The outlets offer substantial savings, the stores beautiful and restrooms are kept clean. Keep in mind during inclement weather this is more like a strip mall than a traditional mall as you are outside as you walk from store to store and only go inside once inside the store you want to shop in. There is adequate parking even on the weekends. Plan to wait in line getting off on 270 as for some reason the traffic flow is quite slow getting to the parking lots. Its a bit of a hike from the DC metro area but well worth the ride if you have money in your pocket to spend and want to find great deals!

This is not an outlet mall! When I asked why none of the merchandise was discounted (a trend I noticed in most stores here), an Ugg employee told me that this was a "premium" outlet mall, so everything is sold at retail prices. A veteran shopper ;-), I found myself getting schooled by a 20 something on the definition of "outlet". I tried to explain what people expect when they go to an outlet mall, to no avail. I notice the positive reviews mention how visually appealing it is. Sorry, but bargains draw me, not aesthetics, or the playground. Ill stick to Leesburg and Williamsburg, two true "outlet" malls.

Very nicely constructed place, two level outside shopping center with shade from sun and the rain in times of severe weather. As this place had not been open very long, you will find some store fronts not currently occupied but that is to be expected. My opinion is the parking situation is weird and annoying. Quite a bit of hassle trying to park and its a very long walk to get to the stores. I think the parking lot situation could have been better designed but the center itself is very nice and clean.

I went during the holiday season and opinion is mixed. On one hand the design of these outlets its great. On the other hand, they clearly rushed to open for the holiday season as many stores were still vacant or in the construction phase. In addition, other stores didnt have the normaly displays; one shoe store was using boxes to display their shoes. To be fair, stores like Nike, Under Armour, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Tory Burch were 100% complete and looked great!
