I love the some of the service here but other times its been frustrating. There are some employees that happily give suggestions. I frequent this location because its closest to my house. Once I received a corked bottle of Pommery and they replaced it, no questions asked. But others that tell you your taste in Pommery and Moet is bad. They also argue about wines youve been told by managers that that location doesnt carry and say you didnt look hard enough(Bonterra Sauv Blanc). Also, one time my boyfriend asked about Frisk and the employee completed his sentence and told him unapologetically theyre asked for it a lot but cant get it in stock.

Total Wine would have received a perfect score, except for the fact they did not follow through with their notes for my wedding alcohol purchase. Everything was great until the day of pick-up. They stated they would refrigerate the white wine the evening before, but the wine was not refrigerated as promised. Additionally, they did not have the wine counts ready; therefore, my husband and his friends had to go through and hand-count all of the bottles. The kegs were not labeled either. This made the day-of pick-up unorganized and more cumbersome than needed.

Great selection of wine and beer. Easy to navigate and find what your looking for. Only complaint is when I asked for a wine made with a specific grape I was laughed at and told by the staff member he had never heard of it. He was a bit rude and stuck up about it. Im guessing because I look very young. My family owns vineyards and makes wine back home and I definitely know what Im talking about. I just let it go but was rather put off by the service there. Get over yourself you work in a wine store in Norfolk VA.

Unfriendly, refusing to give deposit on keg back. Employees in the store are very rude and unfriendly. We returned the keg, the tap and the bucket. They are now saying that we did not return the keg so they will not give us back our deposit on the keg. We have been dealing with them for over 2 weeks now trying to get our deposit on the keg back. We will never deal with Total Wines and More again and will never recommend Total Wines and More to anyone. Very dissatisfied customer!

Paradise. Excellent selection of local and international wines and craft beers. I spend way too long trying to convince myself it is not okay to spend hundreds of dollars there but I still do. Theres just so much to try. I am not complaining though! The staff is knowledgeable and usually spot-on with their recommendations. They have great informational tabs on the different wines with reviews and observations. I love discovering new wineries/breweries.

Decent TW considering the location but its actually pretty small compared to a lot of the ones that I have been in. If youre looking for something different than you will find in the nearby grocery stores then you will get a small selection, but dont expect to be blown away. In particular, the craft beer selection is a fraction of what Ive come to expect from other Total Wines Ive been to.

Large selection of beers from all over. Arranged by style so all the stouts are near each other and the Belgian Strong Ales are near each other, etc. The build your own 6 pack is good for trying different beers you dont want to commit to. Most are on the shelf at room temp but they do have some in the back in the fridge. I think they have some wine there too.

So much variety, but needs more sake to choose from. My fiance only likes rice wine and sweet wines. I can never find flavored sake there, not sure if they just dont carry it or if it is always out of stock. though they have about 5 or 6 different types. They have a great selection of beer, champagne, and wine though.

Massive selection of wine and beer! the selling point of the whole experience was the employees, theyre extremely friendly and they react to everything in a kind and professional manner. Particularly the tall black gentleman, he was the entire reason Im going to continue to go to that specific store!

Good selection of wine and beer. The employees at this location always seem very friendly and willing to help you find something. As with all Total Wine & More locations, to say they have a lot to choose from is an understatement. If they dont have it then its probably not available in the area.

Beer selection, once a highlight, is now poorly organized. The focus appears to be less providing specific beer to enthusiasts and more providing to a more casual drinking crowd. Makes perfect sense as a business model but it bums me out as a guy who used to really enjoy this store.

Staff is always amazing. If you find that you dont like a particular associates recommendations, try some others because you need to find someone with a more similar taste pallet. Amanda is my go to person; I would be lost without her! :)

Having lived in Europe and many US cities, I am very impressed with the variety and range of vinters & brewers available here. Total Wine offers one of the best, if not the best selection of wines, and beers anywhere !

I.have lived in many cities and always seek out total wine. The selection is great. This location is much smaller.than the one I would visit in Dallas, but has all I want. The staff is super helpful.

Good selection of wines and beers with excellent knowledgeable staff. Smaller than the store in Virginia Beach. Tastings on Saturdays through-out the afternoon. Member tastings on Thursday evenings.

When TW first opened it was an armature wine aficionados dream. Over the years the stock has switched more to microbrew beers. They really need to change the name to Total Beer and Some Wine Too.

They have a terrific selection of wine. Its fun just to look around at all the labels. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I subtracted one star for their lame rewards program.

Great selection of beers. Lots of hard to find stuff. Was having a Mediterranean party and got a case of Mythos Greek beer. They also had an nice assortment of Russian beers.
