Seldens staff and store always reminds me of the small town businesses with which I grew up. Everyone is friendly and, as an earlier reviewer said, they provide plenty of small amenities such as free replacement cases, lens wipe, and lens solution. Diane Wallach is sharp, professional and Valerie and Tom (?) at the front desk are both very accomodating with appointment scheduling, fittings, and checking out different styles of eyewear. I recently elected to wear contacts and, although I constantly ripped them and lost them the first week, I just had to drop in and pick up a replacement while i was in the initial fitting stage.
I was in Norfolk on vacation and I broke my clip on sun glasses. Thankfully walking down the street I spotted Selden Optometry and walked in to see if they had any options in stock. My glasses dont really have an exact match when it comes to clip on sun glasses but thanks to Charles Rutter we found the closest match to my frame and better yet he took the time to adjust them making sure that it was secure. And the best part of all it cost me $10 for everything. Cant thank them enough for the last minute help. If I was local to Norfolk I would go for my glasses and would gladly recommend anyone to go. Thanks again!
Very friendly staff. Dr. Wallach is informative while doing the whole exam. Glasses are done in a hurry and Chuck is very knowledgeable. You can not go wrong making Selden Optometry your new go to for eye exams.
Just right. Im visiting Norfolk for a glassblowing conference. My glasses broke and Chuck got them fixed in a few moments. No appointment but they were super friendly. Thanks.
Dr. Wallach is great. She makes the exam fun. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The best eyeglasses in town.
