Staff was very attentive to the fact that I looked completely lost in finding what it was I was set out to find while there. In this case, a dog shampoo that would help my Chihuahuas itchy, yet highly sensitive skin. Unfortunately, it was just luck that I found something that seems to be suitable to the time being, not a knowledgeable employee. The employees, however, are not at fault for this as they had excellent customer service skills and were very proactive in trying to find solutions to my issue. This is the fault of upper management and lack of knowledge training given to their employees upon hiring. I feel for them, honestly, because the stores product selection surpasses PetSmarts by a mile so they have the potential to be a great store. Unfortunately, having knowledge of the products for sale in the store you work in is imperative.

This place is horrible on customer service , I go in trying to buy a small 3 to 5 gallon fish tank with a water filtration system and led lights . Was a guy before me got helped and so I waited once he was finished , the lady told me just a sec . Then another person came along and she helped them . I still waited patiently . Then another person came and she helped them . So I was just looking at the small fish tanks and she never helped me but was having good laughs with a coworker . Hate to say it but I did notice all 3 people before me were all white people . I will never come to this place . I got a lot of friends with pets and tell them my experience with this place . I maybe a different race but my money is just as green as everyone else .

They will special order products. You just have to be persistent because their vendors are not very responsive (the reason for 4 stars). Best prices on Diamond Naturals Dog Food. Lots of choices on small animal and bird food, toys and healthy snacks. Our puppy loved the ram horn chew. They have someone who specializes in each department so they can answer lots of tough questions if you need help. 5 stars for helpfulness!! I also really like their special events for pets. So much fun for pet and owner. A thoughtful kind manager and staff. (Thank goodness they got rid of Tonya the terrible Adamson!!!, it is a happier place!)

I bought 4 fish from this store. 2 died over a week and the 1 refused to eat so I took him back. My ammonia levels in the tank were a 2, which are leaning bad, but its 1 out the faucet. They treated the fish I gave back like he was lucky to survive and argued about my 5 day live policy. Even though I didnt make a big deal about the other 2 that ended up belly up. It took a while to get anyone to help me at the store. And I had to save my 2 yr old daughter from a pit bull that lunged at her that escaped his owners coller. People please be weary of your dogs. They have big teeth and can be unpredictable.

They have the best selection of dog food amongst the big pet supply stores! I am always greeted when I come in and usually someone is quick to see if I need help if I am browsing the aisles. You see a lot of the same people working there so that tells me employees are happy and there is not a ton of turnover. They seem to have a lot of dog toys, but always the same stuff. That is the only reason I would shop somewhere else. They have really good prices and you dont have to register to get a card you have to swipe every time to get the lowest prices. Love supporting local businesses!

I spend way too much money here, but my little lady deserves the best. Every employee has been awesome and hey, everyone is allowed a bad day at work here and there. They have all types of food and toys for your pets, friendly knowledgable staff, a day care (havent tried it myself), grooming, and trainer for us first time doggy owners. The staff always trys to engage with my brat and Id come here over the bigger brand pet stores. They also have deals with certain food brands and use the loveva app (20% off after certain amount of visits). Cant recommend enough!

My pet stayed at the pet resort for 3 days and I must tell you that the facility is great, the staff is great and we really appreciated the Manager, Melissa Handins demeanor, knowledge and her caring about our dog, Gizmo. Melissa and staff also ensured that Gizmo was groomed before leaving and Susan of Grooming was also great. Whenever I am in the area again, my dog will be staying there. Thank you so much because this was Gizmos first time being boarded and away from his family for the long period of time and you all made him feel welcomed. Kay Gates

I called yesterday to bring in our cat to have his rear claws trimmed and ears cleaned. The employee said they were too busy and to bring him back today (Saturday). Fortunately for me, I called ahead just to check on the wait time. I was now informed that they only "do cats" on M, T, W from 9-2. Wow, not very accommodating hours for their cat customers..... very frustrating since weve taken him there many previous times on weekends >:-/ does anyone on here have any recommendations on where to get cats claws trimmed?? thanks.

Today, my girlfriend and I walked into Care A Lot looking for carrying crates for both of our cats as we are traveling tomorrow and wanted something low cost. After searching for a while and coming up short handed, Misty, the store manager came to the rescue. Not only was she amazingly helpful, she also provided much needed advice and even stood with us a while to converse. She was amazingly helpful and even saved us some money! Well definitely be shopping here in the future for any of our pets needs! Thank you again, Misty!

My experience was horrible this time in the past my groomer was great. There was miscommunication about the process however when I asked to have my dogs hair cut it looked like she cut his hair with her eyes closed and even put big chunks out of his hair. Somebody asked me if I asked for layers and then she left hair where it should have been cut. Im afraid to bring him back after this episode, might I add I paid $48 for this awful service. Should report to the better business bureau!

Incompetent! Went there to buy a new bulb for my bearded dragon and the bulbs were locked in a cabinet. When I asked an employee to please get me a bulb he told me that he could not because the employee from last shift went home with the keys. I asked why the general manager did not have a key? He said that each department has its on key. Then I told him that was ridiculous how you only have one key and the manager has no access to something in his store.

Great selection of cat and dog food. Suprisingly good selection of small animal food. Some of the foods I buy sell out quickly so they are not always on the shelf (primal, orijen, WERUVA) so that is my only reason for four stars. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Ive used the boarding services and grooming and never had an issue. They also offer doggy day care and obedience training which I think is great. This local business has a lot to offer.
