Well I am going to start off by saying that I agree 100% with the review of the other 1 star reviewer! I have been getting my prescriptions here at this Walgreens for approximately 5 years. I NEVER had any issues with the old pharmacy manager named Ed. About a year ago they got a new pharmacy manager named Shawn and transferred Ed to a store in Maryland. Since this change I have had nothing but PROBLEMS at this store. The new pharmacy manager "Shawn" hasnt even been an issue except for being really strict. I understand that our FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has gotten so strict on the pharmacies they about have to be this way. The ISSUES that I have had has always been with one pharmacist named "Ann" and she only works at this store on Tuesday Mornings and Thursday afternoon as a fill in. The reason she is a "FLOATER" is because she will flat out run business away, just like she did me. I take it that Walgreens dont want someone working at a permanent location and running people off. As far as all of the other staff, I have never had any issues. I absolutely love doing business with "Nicole" and "Shawn" but I can NOT even stand the thought of dealing with "Ann" anymore. The problems that I have with "Ann" is that she did the same thing to me as she did the other reviewer. She called me out in front of everyone asking what I had wrong with me. She stated "that she has had hip and back surgery and only takes an aspirin a day" and went on to say that I needed to get off the medicine I was being prescribed for pain. I do NOT APPRECIATE what she done to me nor do I APPRECIATE the fact that she is still working there despite me calling the DISTRICT MANAGER. This was not the only thing she done to me! She also discussed with my family about some of the medicine I was getting and told them they should just take some of mine. This was TOTALLY UNCALLED for! Once again, I called the DISTRICT MANAGER to advise her of what happened this time and guess what? She (Ann) is still working there, as far as I know. With all of this being said, I would highly suggest anyone reading my review to stay the heck away from this pharmacy unless you go their when this "ANN" pharmacist is NOT working. Remember she only works on Tuesday morning and on Thursday afternoon. Any other day you choose to go here should be fine as long as its, "Shawn" the pharmacy manager, or "Nicole" the other permanent pharmacist that works here. I look forward to reading any other NEW REVIEWS that people might post regarding this same pharmacist.

The pharmacy employees are generally rude and unhelpful. The wait there is painful, and they never have medications ready when they say they will. In my experience, it feels like they enjoy making things difficult for customers. It seems like they dont want to help you. When I was pregnant, the pharmacist tried to tell me I couldnt take a specific medication that had been prescribed by my OBGYN. I asked her if shed been to medical school, and she replied, "no, but I know what Im talking about." Basically, these pharmacists are on a power trip, and think that they can dictate or control what medications people take. If a doctor prescribes a medication, then they need to fill it as long as its within federal/state guidelines. Besides being completely rude, they overstep their boundaries. Sorry Ms. Pharmacist, but youre not a medical doctor, and you dont trump my OBGYN with 20+ years experience.

I used to love this pharmacy. I dont know what has happened but they are no longer customer oriented. I think maybe "Ann" is working full time now. God forbid you take pain Meds. The pharmacist is apparently the Opiate Nazi!! Until they get a license to practice as a Specialist they to keep their biases to themselves!!! I wont be going back after years of commitment. Shame since I take at least 4 different types of Meds daily.

I understand that one has to be careful filling medication but I did not appreciate the pharmacist calling me out in front of a big line of people, stating that my certain "type" of medicine can be often abused and actually said "what kind of problem do you have that you must take this?" To me, it is between the doctor and myself, and, if you really need to know, pull one to the side and make it a private conversation!

I take several drugs daily, and as a result spend a lot of time interacting with pharmacy staffers. When I moved from Centreville to Manassas, I was afraid I would have settle for something less than the great rapport I had with the Centreville staff. Luckily, my fears were unfounded. The staff at this store have been uniformly patient and helpful. What a relief! Thanks, folks!

Its walking distance from my house, its always clean, I give the service good because employees are never in eyes reach when you need help except for cash wrap, you pretty much have to look for someone to help, but beside that I love my neighborhood Walgreens

The best pharmacy in this area, Great customer service, super fast and efficient, friendly staffed. I tried the pharmacy at Walmart yesterday worst experience of my life. Its a little bit more expensive here but definitely worth.
