I would love to give them a higher rating but I just cant get over some issues we had. The buying process went smoothly enough, had a good salesperson, & they worked with us as far as getting the van purchased. However, we were there for hours on a Saturday, I guess they only have one person who takes care of the tax, tags, title, and licensing? Anyway, wouldnt have been a big deal except we have a 1 year old and a 3 year old. Trying to keep them happy while we just sat there and waited and waited for our turn. We were super happy with our purchase but they hadnt detailed it yet, inside or out. They told us to come back within a month of purchasing it and they would take care of us. The first time I came, with my two young boys, and we waited 3.5 hours and they didnt touch the inside. Still had dirt and dog hair from the previous owners. I called & let them know what had happened so they told me to come back again and theyd take care of it. So, I hauled me and the boys back once again and after 1.5 hours of waiting, I get in the van and see that after all that time, all they had managed to do was vacuum the floor. They didnt touch the dashboard or the consoles or even wipe down the seats. I called and complained to the sales managers voicemail and surprisingly enough, never heard back from them. Im so glad I bought a van from them & paid extra for someone elses dirt. Seriously, a detail job is/should come standard with the purchase of a new car. They acted annoyed and like I was asking for special treatment or something. Everyone we interacted with was very nice, but they could have done the very basic task of cleaning my vehicle properly.

I was very interested in buying a Tundra, I went to the dealership and not only was the price too high but they didnt have the tundra we wanted. Later that week I received and email from the sales rep that helped us saying that they had HUGE sales event that weekend and that I should come in, so I told him I went to another dealership and was offered a pretty good deal and that I preferred going there. He then told be to come here and that they would offer something better. I get there and he was helping another customer so I waited a little more than an hour for him which was okay then he helps us and we start looking at different vehicle options so we tell him the one we want and before we test drive it we find out it had NO GAS, so he tells us to put $10 of our money and he would pay us back, we get back from the test drive and give him the receipt and he tells us Ill pay you in a bit (Never paid us for the gas we put into there truck to test drive) and then we start talking numbers and his price was $10,000 more than an email he sent me. So I told him well I want the one you quoted us on and he told me not only did they NOT have it at there location but IT WASNT EVEN MADE YET!! So he sent me an email quote for a truck that didnt even exist and I wasted my whole Saturday there. We were there for 8 hours and left without the car we wanted. After I sent him an email of how disappointed we were and waalaa he never even responded. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

I had my car serviced today at McGeorge--Thats why Im posting this review now. I purchased my Camry from McGeorge Toyota about 7 years ago. I was impressed from the beginning as the sales associate (Stan Brown) was a great listener and put me in the vehicle that I wanted. He was kind to my daughter too, which won me over. He found out she was going to UVA and called students that he knew and asked them to look out for her at orientation. They did. I financed my purchase with Toyota because I was offered a better rate than was offered by the banks. For the entire 7 years, my experience with the service department has exceeded anything that Ive experienced anywhere else. When they make a mistake (and all businesses will), they own it and try to make it right. They dont take their customers for granted. If they tell you "its free for the life of your car," you can count on it. Within reason, they will work with you to get the repairs done so you can get your vehicle back when you need it. The service advisors provide prompt and clear communication about repairs needed on your vehicle. Each time Ive had my car serviced, they make me know that Im a valued customer. Keep up the good work!

I just hated being there today. At first step they could not come up with a deal and I left their place and came back home. It was OK till that time, deal fails sometimes. But the worst part came up when they called me back and told me that they can provide me a RAV4 Limited for $28,250 out of door at 0% APR. Their salesman(who was really helpful to me and treated me how a customer should really be treated) came to my home and picked me up. Once I was there, the Sales manager changed the words, he said that it is going to be $28,250 plus additional $1,800 down payment, total to be ~30,000.... WOW....why even called me back to their place and why did not they told me at the first place? The way manager spoke to me was really rude...... He said "Well good luck with another place. i am the one who does all business in town"......... If you buy from them, they treat you well and if not they will act so rudely...... I talked at Mechanicsville Toyota and they have best staff and best deal in town.... trust me people...... I totally regretted being being there today... Just a waste of time.....The sales person was polite but just didnt liked the way Manager talked to me.

This is by far the best car dealership Ive ever had any sort of experience with! From the moment I called them to set an appointment and walked in the door to leaving the dealership with my new Corolla, they were kind, courteous, caring and meet and exceeded ever need without question. I told Mark(sales associate) the basics of what I was looking for(price, year, mileage) and we then walked the entire lot until we found the perfect car for my personal situation. The financial department was also very helpful too. I believe the gentleman we worked with was named Josh and he worked with us to get our loan approved even when another dealership said I had to get a co-signer. I had such a great experience dealing with McGeorge Toyota that whenever I hear that a friend/family member has to buy a car in the future, I will recommend they go to McGeorge first because their car search will end there. When purchasing a vehicle, customer service is the name of the game and over there on West Broad Street, they have the very best customer service one could ever ask for!

Actually a pleasant experience buying a car...which I havent had the last 3 cars I bought. Felt that they not only wanted to get me in the car I wanted, but wanted to get me the best deal possible. Didnt feel like I was being lied to or hustled the whole time. I told them exactly what I wanted, they got it and a price quick. They were straight with me about the advantages and disadvantages of the car, and the different option packages. A co worker had bought the same car (Venza), except an 11 (mines a 12) from a dealer in No.Va. and had a miserable time. The FIRST price I got from these guys was significantly lower than his FINAL price. Also did a trade in, and they gave me $700 more than anyone else I talked to offered. Craig even delivered my new car and picked up my trade in for me. Couldnt have been an easier transaction, even the financing was a breeze. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
