I went to this store over the weekend and the clerk, named Shannon, was extremely rude to me and my friend. When we walked in they were offering samples of Vodka (which was awesome) but when I went to check out, things got extremely terrible. Both registers were open and we were the only customers in the store. When I approached Shannon, she was having a conversation with another worker about a pen that was missing from her register. I let her continue to talk and started looking at the display items. She finished talking and asked me, in quick succession, "Debit or credit. Debit or credit. Debit or credit." With extreme ratchet attitude. I looked at her and said Credit." and she began yelling at me, talking about how she asked me three times and I was rude for not answering. My friend and her ended up in a heated argument about customer service, and the extreme lack of it, but Im certain the words used were too big for miss Shannon to understand. Let me say that this is not the best area to buy liquor, and Ive always viewed this ABC as a little ghetto. But this woman seals the deal. Shed probably have better luck working for Empire or Love and Hip Hop, where that kind of speech is accepted and understood. But until her ratchet tv career takes off, she should probably not work with the public. Id advise everyone to go to the ABC store on Hampton Roads Center Pkwy instead. It might be a little further, but there wont be any trashy cameos, either.

The place was definitely busy on a Saturday night. Had a great selection of liquor, they had a very small and disappointing wine section but the prices were good.

Its pretty much like any other liquor store youve been to. Staff is always friendly, and the store is always stocked and clean for the most part.
