Worst service, do not use this UPS store. Your package will be lost and you will not get a refund. My dad is an elderly gentleman with heart problems and diabetes. He was on a trip to visit my brother in California and ran out of one of his heart medications that he must take everyday. The pharmacy in California would not give him a refill so he asked me to get the extra pills that he had at his home and send to him immediately as he was not feeling well. I took the pills to this UPS store in Ashburn and asked them to send the small package as soon as possible. The man at the register seemed distracted but took my order, charged me $65 for a 2 day delivery. The pills did not arrive in 2 days or 4 days or 7 days. In fact this was three months ago and the pills are still no where to be found. Every day for a week my dad was going to check the outside and the mail box for the medicine he was expecting. I called several times and was told I will get a refund and that these things happen. I went there in person and talked to the same person (Thomas) that took my order. He did not care at all about the situation and casually mentioned that he will refund me. I still have not received a refund or a call from this store and its management and it has been several weeks. I have never had such a poor service any where. I will never ever go back to this store.

Dont trust the scruffy shaggy looking worker. I bought a frame to send home for fathers day. The clerk told me the frame I was sending wouldnt survive in the package I selected and said I needed to upgrade. I said whatever your standard shipping is, he said $80. I said not overnight...he said okay, early next week, $50. I said I dont need anything more than standard shipping, its a $10 gift. He quoted me $30 for 5-7 day shipping. I said I would check out the post office. He quoted them at $35, and said they didnt have up to three minute tracking. I still went to the post office, got a sturdy flat rate envelope for $6.95 with a tracking number, guaranteed by Saturday. The UPS clerk is a liar, and wasnt polite. Go to the post office instead.

I shipped something from here and they charged me on the receipt for 15 pounds when my item weighed less than 2 pounds. This added an extra $10 when I did back-2-back comparisons. Then they added insurance without asking if I wanted it which further increased the cost by 25$. And here comes the kicker. I shipped two of these items that day. So that $35 extra that i paid was doubled to 70$. They literally want to take you for every penny here. so just check them when you ship. Or preferably go elsewhere. Also as a side note, the customer service was complete crap. The guy at the desk was definitely not happy to be working there. Do not trust the shaggy unkept employee with stuff on his face.

Ive had two unpleasant experiences here. Ive complained to corporate but they dont care. I go into this store and watch the usual employee here ratchet the price of my shipping up and up and wont give me explanations other than "thats what it cost." Tacks on fragile service, fragile handling, handling, fragile box. $9 each until it cost me $100 to ship a small box to PA from VA. I could drive it there for less. All shipping companies have become robbery now unless you have some kind of deal with them. I cant imagine how a normal person selling things on eBay can make any money. Especially not if the come visit the shaggy, unkempt employees at this store.

They are OK for my basic shipping. But not beyond that. A year ago I shipped an expensive item. Insured it for $750. The total shipment cost was over $125. One of the parts got damaged in shipment. I had spent time and found a replacement for that part for $30. So I filed a claim for $30 - about the amount I paid for insurance, by the way. It has been a year and at least 4-5 visits and I had not been paid. Every time I show up - a manager promises to get back to me right away. And as you may have guessed - they never do.

Worst UPS Store ever. I never take the time to write reviews usually. But the experience there was aweful. People did not want to help me and told me to buy things that was not even corresponding to my needs. Then! When I wanted to buy some stamps and come back later the time to print things, they did not want because "You have to send your letter at the same time, otherwise it is not possible". What? Find another one...

Easy dropoffs, and the one time I used the store to ship something everything was quick and easy. Employees were nice and professional, and answered any questions Ive had. The only reason for four stars was due to the back door being open, allowing cigarette smoke from someone (not necessarily a UPS Store employee) smoking, outside in the back, to come in (roughly around October 2016).

(Neutral Review): This particular store is reasonable in that they accept USPS labeled items, and that Im not fusing with the USPS Service desk in Sterling. The guy in my opinion is polite, and this place has a reasonable USPS pickup time of 1:00
