i had the worst experience in this disney store. On 1/20/16 evening, I tried to purchase 5 plush toys of same kind, but one of them doesnt look clean. So I asked the employee at the counter to see if they had more. She said, "no, everything we have is on the shelf, there are no more in the back." Alright, so I went back to grab those 5 toys, but I found out they only had 4. I went back to talk to the lady at the counter again to see if she have more, and this time she went to the back of the store and grabbed another one. Why would you be so lazy to not go back to check in the first place and lie to the customer? Here is an update for the exchange encounter: We went back to the same store again. I talked to Anne who worked there, and told her about the initial incident. She immediately apologized and offered me an exchange. Since the store was on sale, we were manage to purchase a second plush bear for $1 extra. You just cant say no for that. The experience this time was exactly what we expected in a Disney store. Disney should be a place that makes kids satisfy, Anne did a great job to handle this situation. So instead of the initial 1 star rating, I changed it to 5 stars.

The worst Disney store experience I have ever had, twice in one month. The first time I called a head to make sure I could make an exchange. I was told it was no problem. However when I arrived after an hour drive, I was told they couldnt do the exchange and asked who told me they could. Finally they did the exchange after much complaint. The second time I had to exchange a pair of shoes purchased by my mother for my daughter they didnt fit. So I called told me I could and even held a pair for me. When I got there, they had some Halloween party going on. I put my daughter in it then when it seemed to be over we walked away. Turns out they started giving out treats. We headed back and asked the employee if we could get one. He told us this was for kids that had participated in the party. I told him she had. He sighed and gave me a look like he thought I was lieing than said well okay I guess. This is not typical Disney store behavior.

Horrible experience. Rude/indifferent associates and managers. (Except the manager with short,spiky, dark hair. She rocked and is why Im giving 2 stars instead of one.) Didnt bother to check stock on an item we ordered in store which lead to a huge 3 week hassle with Disney customer service. The item apparently sold out days before. Decided to give them another chance and called on a different item. The lady who answered was extremely rude and hung up on me before I could even finish my sentence. Hope everyone else has a better experience.

So frustrated with the Disney store at City Creek! I called the store looking for a pair of Tinker Bell costume shoes for my baby. The employee stated she had the shoes and could only hold them 24 hours. I offered to pay over the phone since I live 50 miles away and I wouldnt be coming to Salt Lake till Saturday but she said that was against policy. I drove 50 miles to get $11 dollar shoes and they didnt even have any!! The employee had put the costume on hold but no shoes. Im very disappointed and will not be returning.

I am treated as though I have no business being there. I purchase quite a bit of disney merchandise and to be followed and then treated awful by meg makes me never want to be a Disney guest. Robby I think was his name and Anne were the only ones nice to me when I go in. Amy and Amanda too. But Meg is awful. She will talk to you sarcastically and then treat you like you dont have a brain. Or shes even called me like a fat cow before. Perfect disney magic for sure. Parks is where its at now to purchase merchandise.

Its a fun store to take the kids to. Lots for them to look at and they even have some fun displays on some tree cutouts that they project onto. The staff have their hands full, but keep in mind that normally there are anywhere from 50-70 people in the store at anyone time. So extend them some patience. Great gifts for basically any age really with how wide-ranging Disney is. Something for the kids, something for the spouse and something for the parents. Highly recommend people going here.

Took my little in for fun to look around. Found a pair of shoes he loved. Unfortunately they didnt have a pair in his size. Asked the manager if they had any in the back. He refused to even look and said that they were sold out and only had what was on the shelf. Asked if they could check other stores or online and was told that there was nothing they could do (he wouldnt even look). Luckily we found them online and got them ordered. Their customer service is terrible.

If youre a Disney fan, theres lots of cool stuff there like Barbie doll Disney princesss, (some of them are really detailed), costumes (for the young girls),.... its fantastic.... its like going to Disney world or land with out paying allot, when i first walked in, i heard like an upbeat version of, "April showers," you know from Bambi?.. from like,... from the olden days... but unlike that version where its kinda outdated in singing... this one was just instrumental.

The manager has to be the rudest employee there. We have been coming for their summer play dates. They told us it would be every Wednesday at 1 for sure. They change their minds and when they do the activity you have to get a special button of which they do a horrible job at letting customers know that. I feel if I ever ask a question you get your head bit off. I will be shopping online from now on unless they get friendlier employees.

We went there to look around briefly.. than an employee cornered us and talked AT us for about 20 minutes straight about irrelevant personal stuff. She would not let us get in a word. The one time I tried to ask a question she interrupted me and continued to talk. Im never going back there simply because I dont want to get trapped by that rude employee. She was so obnoxious and we could not get out of there fast enough.

Was expecting the type of customer service you get when going to Disneyland. Nope. I asked several different workers to help me get an item off a higher shelf, they all forgot me and I stood there waiting for 30 minutes to see if anyone that I stopped to ask for help would help me. It was a busy day, but thats no excuse. They lost my sale and I was very upset that I couldnt give my niece the gift I had planned on.

This my favourite place to get gifts for my niece and nephews! Theres always so many choices! I recommend the one in University Place, Orem, as well! Both locations have happy and helpful Cast members (Disney talk for sales reps) and are willing to see what can be done for you.
