Beware!!! Never rent here!!! Go somewhere else!!!!!! I have rented bikes from shops all over the world and also other park city shops. Out of all the places to rent in park city this has been my worst experience. First off you will get a year old low end model Dh bike for the same price as the other places charge for current models. Not a huge deal. Second they didnt set the bike up for me at all. It was not good. They cared more about the people renting a bike to cruise the side walk than me going on the mountain. Again not a huge deal, since I have raced downhill and my friends had tools to adjust everything. Now heres where I had the biggest problem. After 2 runs at the resort I got a flat rear tire, since I had tools I tried to fix it myself. After I noticed a few slits in the sidewalk, I called the shop and they said bring it down and they would fix it no problem or get me a new bike. I jumped in a friends truck and cruised down. I was met by a guy with a southern accent who first asked me before I even got into the door, did I get the insurance. I said no. I then mentioned the slits in the sidewalk that I had noticed. Now I was never given anything that said flats werent covered. He said ok you will have to pay for it. I asked why? He sternly said I had to pay for it because the tire was ripped. I pointed them out to be honest. The tire was not brand new and had probably been ripped before in my opinion. He said we dont charge retail but you have to pay. And he then said "you gonna pay now?" I contemplated telling the guy to keep the bike and Ill go rent from somewhere else. Unfortunately they were my last option because everywhere else was rented out. I paid the money and went back up the mountain. When I returned they were again very short and not very friendly. Im a business owner and Ive seen a lot of managers who are not good with the public. Im pretty confident the guy I dealt with was the manager because of the way the rest of the guys in the rental shop were shocked by how he was talking to me. They are not friendly and if you want a crappier bike and bad experience be my guest. I will never rent here and neither will any of my 20 friends who all rented bikes from the other spots in town. They had flats and bike issues and were all happy with the other shops customer service!

OK, so your looking for an outdoor store, whats important? Selection, Service and Price. And Cole Sport has all three top notch. Great selection of equipment, for us its bike rental and we have always been pleased with the inventory. Price, no one is less expensive in Park City. Service, always great, helpful suggestions on where to ride, what to ride, help with equipment. Special shout out to TJ in the repair shop. We needed help with a bike repair on a bike we shipped to PC and TJ was so amazing, hands on, great service, fixed the bike up nice and called to keep us in the loop as to what was needed. When ready he called to advise it was pickup time. He even went online while we waited to look up similar bikes and parts to help us. Grady was great too. Guys like this really make a difference. We will be back a lot. thanks TJ!!!

Excellent service. Bought boots for my son, who is hard to fit, helmets for him and me, and rented skis. Staff was knowledgeable and patient, willing to stay with our price points. Boots were adjusted at time of sale (at Old Town location), then readjusted at DV. I was able to trade my rental skis for different length at DV and then return at Old Town. No problems at all, though it was a bit crowded. Prices are nothing special, but you get the service you need, along with the convenience of multiple locations around Park City. Note: rental skis at DV are better than at other locations - retail, rather than rental versions (lift operator actually asked me how I liked my skis!), and they charge a bit more for them.

Nothing but outstanding service from these guys for me. If you are looking for a good quality, well kept, and clean bike to rent at a fair price, this is the place to go. The guys working when I was there were nothing but helpful and accommodating. I spoke with Jake and Eric. Both guys were extremely personable. There were plenty of bikes to choose from and good equipment to rent. I, btw, am not much of a reviewer at all, but I read a couple of reviews that seemed WAY off base compared to my experience. Really liked these guys!!!

This is the finest bicycle/ski shop in Park City Utah. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and courteous. While on vacation in Park City UT this week I required their assistance three times (not a good week). Each and every time they quickly took care of the issue (flat tire, broken rear wheel spoke and bent derailleur). To make every thing even better, their prices are unbelievably fair and reasonable. For years Cole Sports has gotten my business and they will for the foreseeable future.

This review is for JP, in the repair shop. When you think "Cole Sports, Park City," you think "Skiis." But, these guys do it all. But, when I take my bike in to see whats going on with it, he does what he can for me to fix my bike for free before he tells me to "check-in" my bike. This is why I love spending my money here at Cole Sports in Park City. Its because of JP, and his great crew under him that I come back.

We recently spent a great week in Park City. Cole Sport was one of the high points. The young men there were so helpful and kind. We asked so many questions about where the best biking trails were among other things. Thanks to them our experiences were unforgettable especially one young man whom I cant recall his name but he gave his undivided attention to us for as long as we wanted. We will be back!

We stopped in for a bit of info on the 400+ miles of single track that the Park City area has to offer. The dude who helped us was like many that work in bike and ski shops: rude as can be. He offered no valuable advice on shuttles, the bus, trailheads, parking, etc. No bueno, fer shur. Jans, across the street, was incredibly helpful. Plus, Jans sells better bikes.

I rented ski equipment from Cole Sport for the family for the week. They got us into quality gear very quickly and efficiently. When I returned the equipment, they were gracious enough to refund me for an entire day when I mentioned we lost a day of skiing when the mountain was closed for wind. Id definitely recommend these guys and will be back again.

I purchased a pair of ski brakes from these guys and couldnt be happier with the service. They were shipped next day with a hand written note and a package of gummy bears! This is the best customer service ive had with purchasing anything online. Would definitely buy from again!. Thanks guys.
