I recently had a very poor experience with this Ashley Furniture. I recently bought a very large and expensive desk. I live fairly close so I decided I could pick it up myself. I borrowed my friends car and brought it home. It took the help of my neighbor to actually get it in the house, and after an hour of work, I got it set up. I go to open a drawer and the knob pops off, first time. Basically, the hole was drilled crooked so the knob wouldnt screw on right. It was something I could fix, but I was upset that my brand new (expensive) desk wasnt built right. I called Ashley Furniture and they told me I would have to bring back the whole desk to exchange it for a new one. I didnt want to go through all the work of dismantling the desk, borrowing my friends car, and getting my neighbors help to get it in the car. So I ask if they could deliver it, and they said that there is NO WAY to deliver it since I picked it up. I said fine and they told me it would be ready in a few days. I called a few days later and they told me it wasnt in. I wait a few more days and they tell me its finally in. At this point the desk is fully set up with a desk monitor and ect. I decide to just bring in the drawer and see if they will just replace the old broken drawer with the new one. I drive down to the store and they tell me they will actually DELIVER the new desk to my house, even though they had told me that wasnt possible to do earlier. They made me waste a whole trip to their store, but they told me they would call me in 20 minutes to set up the delivery. I go home and wait for a call. It never comes. 4-5 days later I finally get a call saying the desk will be delivered in a few days. At this point, I had already fixed the desk myself. I wasnt going to have a broken desk sitting around for a week or two. I call them and tell them to cancel the new desk delievery. They tell me that the delivery is cancelled. A few days later, I get another call saying that the desk is going to be delivered. I give them another call to tell them again, I dont want the new desk. They tell me its canceled again. But to my amazement, I AGAIN get a call saying the desk is scheduled to be delivered. At this point I just dont want to deal with these people anymore. I know I wont go looking for furniture here again.

Do not buy their cheap furniture!!!!!! Unfortunately I was one of their victims/customers for numerous years, but it seems that lately the quality on their furniture is extremely low. The last bed set and living room set that I bought from them has had several parts break and or come apart due to the cheap material and or assembling. Their furniture is super over prized if you based it on their quality. Customer service is horrible. The worst Ive seen in a company. It seems that their customers service is not important to them as they will often hang up on you, and or transfer you from customer service person to the other. They take a very long time to schedule an inspection on the faulty furniture and an even longer appointment for someone to pick up the parts. Several weeks later they will schedule for someone else to come and install the parts and will often change the time of the appointment. I have been sleeping on the floor for over a month, due to my bed set being broken for the third time!!!!! If you would like to avoid all the trouble and headaches, DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!!!!!!

Oscar was AMAZING as a salesman. He seemed to work with us, without hounding us. Or try to over sell the stuff we werent interested in. Had he not been our salesman, we probably would have gone someplace else. Now the delivery men... the lead delivery man seemed to be put off by having to do his job! He didnt want to help me, thats for sure! The other man was respectful and helpful. Really nice young man. Had a very small issue with one of the pieces, it was stated on the delivery form, and was told it would be reported and a new piece would be swapped out with the delivery lead. Oscar called to see how things went, and were we happy? Informed him of the piece that was delivered, and this was the first he had heard of it! So he was going to follow up and get back with me. We will see when... As for dealing with Ashley Furniture, we would probably deal with them, especially Oscar again.

I had been inside the Ashleys on a couple of occasions before I actually purchased. Such beautiful furniture! Unfortunately incredible lack of communication!! I drove from Tucson to pick up furniture that was at a different location! Was set up for delivery after that and after two failed attempts finally got delivered two damaged chairs and the wrong size table! They replaced them, telling me that due to delay in delivery they were changing the payment date. Not only did they withdrawal before agreed date but did so from the wrong account!! The account was an old account I had used on previous purchases from a different location that still had that on file. To make matters worse they simply point out it is not their mistake!! If not their mistake then whos?? Stay away......wish I had seen the reviews they had here BEFORE I purchased!

STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! I paid $1700 cash for some furniture here the Green Valley store. Not only was the delivery messed up and they came on the wrong day but within 3 days the furniture was falling apart. The seam had ripped on the recliner and the motor quit working on the power love seat. It took me a few more days to complain and they said since it was after 72 hrs. - TO BAD FOR ME! They sent someone 3 weeks latr to look at the motor and then said it would be about 6 more weeks to get a motor. When I called the corporate office in California a lady named Ruby ( a supervisor) said this happens ALL the time and it is what it is. She told me that it is normal for the stuff to fall apart and quit working after 3 days, "Just the way it is" she said!

We are very pleased with our visit to your store. 6 months ago I bought my living room sectional and Oscar was the sales associate then. When I walked in the door today Oscar was the first sales associate that met me. I was glad he was there. Today I was looking for a 2 dressers for my bedroom he gave me space to look around and was right there when I had questions. He worked quickly to answer my questions and worked with me to get the best deal between 2 brands I was looking at. Today I bought a Queen bedroom set, I did not intend to by a whole set, but because he convinced me it would save me more and it did. Thank you Oscar for being a great person to work with... From now on I only work with Oscar and will only shop at Ashley Furniture because of him. Stephanie Goucher
