The service was pretty terrible. They didnt have a donut that was in an add they sent out which is fine but the lady at the register was pretty rude about it. I figured since I drove the distance I should get some donuts but before I did I asked if they could make a latte. They said they could so I went ahead and ordered a dozen of whatever they had. Got to the register asked about the latte and she said oh we cant make one right now. Then when I asked why she told me she could she gave me big attitude about how understaffed they are and how mismanaged they are. So maybe I just caught a jaded employee however it was a great teaching moment for my son about how bad customer service can cost you money. I will never go there again, and if asked about it I would suggest much better options with better donuts and friendly staff. Not to mention if something is advertised it should be available the couple I front of me drove from SLC for a special ad only to be yelled at that the night shift didnt make them so tough luck. Good times.

Great product but customer service is super bad. Went there last week and there was a lady who had been standing there for 10 minutes before us. We waited 10 more minutes, there were 5 workers walking and working and looking out but none of them acknowledged the customers. I finally called in and said "hello, is anyone going to serve the customers?" All of a sudden 3 more workers come out with a total of 8 and we were finally helped by 2 at the counter. We got the salted caramel which was delicious. But just today we decided to go through the drive thru and the girl said that this a tire never had that flavor because they opted out. Talk about clueless!

Up all night dealing with some family issue so at 6:04 I called the Layton Krispy Kreme to ask when they would have hot ones and the woman said at 6. I thanked her and she said have a good day to which I replied yes I will as soon as I get my hands on 1,2, ok 4 donuts. I drove to Layton and over the intercom the guy told me that their machine wasnt working all morning so all they had were leftovers from yesterday! Who does that.!?! Did the woman on the phone just think I wanted to drive by and see the light on? It would have been nice if she had shared the broken machine, dont you think? So thanks for nothing KK

This place is not for the faint of stomach. You get to see these wonderful puffs of deliciousness go from a small lump of dough to a pandemonium of joy and sugar. There is a large glass wall that separates the spectators from the creators of Heaven. Interestingly this wall seems to be cleaned regularly to remove the fingerprints and slobber marks from everybody who watches the process. I took away one star because I needed to use the restroom and it was God awful in there.

I m thoroughly dissapointed with the customer Service that this establishment has to offer ... It states right on the window ... Drive thru open 24 hours ... I pulled in this morning to purchase 2 dozen donuts and sat there for over 20 minutes waiting to be helped ... I knocked on the window...honked my horn...called twice (and could hear the phone ringing inside) I was even looked at by an employee and not once did I get SERVICE !!! SHAME ON YOU LAYTON STORE !!!!

There arent many Krispy Kreme locations in Utah so to have one in Layton is awesome. They have hot sign hours where you can go in and get a free hot delicious donut. It is an amazing little treat. They seemed to little short handed the day that I went and seemed a little unorganized but we still didnt wait long. It definitely is a stop to be made while in Layton.

Dont go here!! After not going to a doughnut shop for over a year we saw the sign on and thought we would splurge. Stop in and they no longer give a hot doughnut to customers when the sign is on. Thats one thing but the RUDE girl behind the counter and how she said it ?? Made me wish we would have not spent the money we did. I will not waste any more money here.

A pretty standard place for doughnuts. You can see them make the sweets right in front of you. There is even a small ledge for small children to climb up and look at the process without their parents needing to lift them up. If you go on any big promotion day, when they offer free doughnuts, expect a line of children trailing out of the building.

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are the best tasting doughnut, hands down. They recently got rid of the free taste test, but in the end, it wont matter. They all taste great. Ive never not had a super good doughnut here. The neatest part is that they will stay fresh for up to 72 hours if you leave the doughnuts in the box. Absolutely worth the visit!

They are always so busy - but with good reason. The only thing that brings my rating down is that they have their hot light on, but did not give out a hot donut. And, their donuts were smaller than they should have been - we opened a Dozen glazed box and there was room for about 4 more donuts in the box.

If you havent had a hot and ready doughnut here yet, you havent lived life to its full potential. Theyve got a great selection to choose from. I love how late they stay open where other bakerys close down earlier in the day, so even if its 8 or 9 pm, you can still make it in and get a good selection.

Since when did Krispy Kreme stop giving out free donuts when the fresh donuts light was on? I sincerely hope this is just the terrible grinchy management of this specific branch. I went in when the light was on, and was told they no longer give them out when the light is on. Poor move. Zero stars.

Obviously I love Krispy Kreme but Im taking the time to write this because we have came a here a couple sundays in a row and the donuts are never fresh which is the best part of Krispy Kreme. We also ordered three different kinds which they "didnt have" Just a little disappointed

Horrible donuts they were out of sugar maple apple fritters and a lot more. Donuts tasted old and over cooked! No cream in the cream filled ones just terrible! Corporate should knows bout this poorly run Krispy Kreme! Dont waste your money there!

Love the brand. The staff at this one is young and inexperienced in customer service. 3xs I have stopped here in the morning to buy doughnuts to bring to work and every time they were out of there signature glazed doughnuts. Very frustrating

After all these years Ive never provided a review of this place? If six stars was an option it would receive six stars. In my many years of life, Ive never tasted a better doughnut than those sold at Krispy Kreme. As good as doughnuts get.

Ruined our gender reveal. My wife read online that they will make special donuts with pink or blue filling. They wrote it on the top of the box and also told her what they were when she picked them up. Big surprise. Thanks for nothing.
