Walked in the shop for the first time ever yesterday afternoon on a whim, and was promptly greeted by a friendly gentleman named Ron. :-) Turns out hes an avid shooter like myself, and chatted me up for nearly 20 minutes as I made a decision on a firearm purchase. He made me a wonderful deal on a new Glock 9mm, and I couldnt be happier. Ive been to most of the local pawn shops in the area to do similar business in the last couple of years, and Im so glad I finally decided to stop by Northwest. Prices were fair, and the selection was surprisingly good for both new and used guns. Even had a good amount of ammo on hand, along with a large number of extra new and used magazines in various calibers. I will absolutely return and buy more items in the near future after the wonderful treatment I received. Its not the closest pawn shop to my home in the Panther Creek area, but its worth the extra drive for me to get taken care of in a comfortable manner that made me feel like a long term customer, despite it being my first ever visit. Thanks very much for the professionalism!

Two employees standing at the front desk eating Popeyes chicken when I walked in. No greeting or hello, just a blank stare before I acknowledged them and then a very dry attitude. Service was mediocre at best, but the employees could have at least ACTED like they wanted to be at work. Youd be better off going somewhere else with better customer service.

Drive to B&W Pawn in Conroe! NW Pawn wanted to give me $65 on a loan for a 6 month old Alvarez acoustic and a 2 month old Zoom H2 professional digital recorder. B&W gave me $125, no haggling! Thank God I remebered them. Great place! Family owned and operated with a totally different philosophy : )

Pissed Off

Very bad customer service. Wouldnt budge on gun prices even though theyve been sitting there forever. Rude lady employee with zero customer service skills. Also, crazy prices on old crap.
