Worst experience ever we normally eat there 4 to 5 times a month. We waited half a hour to be seated no big deal showed up during their dinner rush understandable not a problem so we get seated waited a hour and the manager comes up to our table and offers us a different meal since for some reason end up running out of meatloaf the only thing we eat there so he said it might take a little longer because meatloaf takes time to cook "normally takes one hour and 30 min to 2 hrs to cook understandable i know what it takes to make it" so I responded we will just go thank you he insisted to give him time to see how long it will take he came back to our table and said give it 20 mins and itll be the fresh meatloaf we ever had decided to wait and we got our meatloaf it was burned Manger comes to our table and asks how was our meal and I responded burned he said thats how it is cooked i laughed and told him every time we ate there it has never been that way plus I know how too cook it so I know thats not how its made i feel management shouldve handled it differently especially for all the time we wasted waiting on a unsatisfied meal

I have always enjoyed eating at cracker barrel. But the hostess was nowhere to be seen for several minutes. The restaurant was nearly empty and when my order was taken my server was not the person who took my order. Which was explained to me as she was walking out to the table. It didnt take too long for the food to be delivered but I would rather wait if it is just going to be warm and not fresh. The baked sweet potato didnt even melt the butter. I peeled the skin with my fingers as it was barely even warm. The special was two chicken breasts breaded and fried. The breading was crisp but the chicken was dry and barely warm. The steamed broccoli was somewhat warmer than either the potato or the chicken. When I told my server my fork had something on it and I wanted another one she brought me a package with plastic fork and knife that would be placed in a to go order. I suppose it was near the end of the evening and no one provided decent service at all. They acted like my being there was an inconvenience to their being able to close the floor. The onlyvho4rible experience I have ever had at cracker barrel.

My husband and I visited here this past Saturday for brunch. First off I found out that they do not serve cranberry juice. Trivial though it may seem, I always looked forward to drinking that while we are there. So I ordered coffee which was so watered down I dont know if you should even call that coffee. Third, every table around us was being served biscuits and I had to ask our waiter if we were even getting ours. When he said yes, he still didnt bring it until he brought out our meals. And he didnt bring any jam so I had to ask for that as well. And after waiting thirty minutes for our food, my husbands meal was cold. We also didnt have silverware so we had to ask for that. The waiter was absent practically the whole duration of our visit except towards the end when I seemed irritated at the list of things already gone wrong. And I also noticed that they do not serve real maple syrup anymore, but instead syrup that has 50% cane syrup in it. I feel like Cracker Barrel has really gone down in their quality of not only food, but service as well. Very dissapointed and will probably not go back again.

So this was my first time here and I always had a hesitation about eating here because the type of food just doesnt appeal to me but the gf said I should try it. First, once we were seated, it took ten minutes to for our waitress, Dora, to address us and take drink orders. Luckily we spent that time going through the menu and we ordered our food right after the drinks. Second, the drinks went empty, the waitress walked by three times with the pitcher of tea and never refilled them. Third, They brought out my plate and my gfs was coming out shortly. Minutes later they say that they had mistakenly put it on the wrong table and went to the back to "heat it up". Couple mins later that come back and if that wasnt enough, it was not even the right plate. She ordered a Chicken Fried Steak and they brought her a Chicken Fried Chicken. Overall, this was my first & last time coming here. Do not recommend. Also, Dora was my server and really shouldnt be working here based on how slow and incompetent she is. I ended up not leaving a tip for her as she truly didnt deserve it.

We had great service up until we got our food . As soon as i was about to eat my mac n cheese i notice there was a hair in my food. In all honesty it looked like a pube hair . I told our waiter and he brought me back a whole new plate . So of course i let it just go , well then my brother dumped out his broccoli on to his plate and as he WAS EATING it he noticed another hair that looked exactly like the one i had on my plate . IT WAS SO DISGUSTING. So we asked for the manager, and as soon as this old hag comes out ,she starts yelling up a storm in front of all the guest , telling us to tell her were they came from if everyone was wearing hair nets . In other words accusing us of putting them there . At that point i felt it was a racial reaction thinking we couldnt pay for our food because of the way we were dressed. It made me so upset i went off on her. Little did she know we could of brought 50 more meals if we wanted .WORST PLACE EVER . I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN.

Horrible experience! People with allergies beware! The only reason I have it two stars was because my kids enjoyed their breakfast and waitress was nice. I ordered a burger and specifically asked if the burger had mayo ( I am deathly allergic to eggs) and explained to make sure there was none. I was assured it does not come with it. We waited forever for our meals to come out, when it did I closed the bun, cut through it and as I brought the burger up to eat I see something white. Between the lettuce was a slather of mayo! Lots of it! On top of that they got my mothers order wrong and took forever to fix it. Bad experience! Manager asked if he could replace the burger, by then my kids were done eating and we said no. Never coming back here.

Its hard to enjoy Cracker Barrel as have in the past. Apparently this location got a new manager, and with that comes along new rules: absolutely no substituting items (only recourse is paying the full price for a la carte items,) no bananas or fruits for the french toast despite the menu, kids meal came out with only half the breakfast and we are treated like it was a favor from Cracker Barrel to get the rest. This is a small thing, but no crayons for the kids menus. Never had to deal with that before our last trip. The hostess-guy dropped his shoulders and sighed when we said "party of 8". Never even got a "Hi" from the dude. Wont be going back anytime soon. IHOP is the place now.
