First off let me just say my tattoo came out amazing! Full of detail and really crisp line work! I came to this shop after Coming from another shop that I just didn feel right about. Coming to absolute tattoo studio was the best choice I could have made. At first I showed the manager my thoughts and he set me up with Doughboy to get the tattoo. What really impressed me was the interest Doughboy took to my tattoo. He called me up to meet in person and discuss the tattoo between me and him to get a better understanding. This tattoo meant a lot to me, seeing as it was a rememberance of my dad who recently passed away and I could tell he wanted it to be perfect. I appreciated the time he took with me as well as the understanding when I changed the tattoo or wanted to make changes to the design. My ending result was a detailed lion and goat. I am in LOVE with this tattoo and will be setting up my second appointment soon enough. Doughboy encourages a relaxing environment where you can enjoy yourself while getting the best work on your body. His prices are extremely reasonable. I have nothing but good things to say about his tattooing, personality and environment. Definitely worth seeing and making an appointment. You wont be sorry!

My experience was awesome at first went to night owl for a tattoo and told me i needed an an appt. No explanation just cold shoulder and to me it seemed like since it was a Saturday night he didnt want to see me cause he wanted to go out so I went down the street to Absolute and was greeted and after figuring out what I wanted . He too told me i needed an appt. Difference was he explained why and told me he can work on me first thing since it was 12 pm at the time best if next day to have a fresh set of eyes and give me a great tattoo. Since what I wanted was a 5 he session . And I was all for it. Thank u for a great tattoo and being kind and explaining to me, i couldnt of made a better choice. Great price good customer service and a bad ass tattoo.

My freind got an industrial and a dath peircing- she tried to tell the peircer that where they were placing was wrong but they ignored her. Went to buddha box studios (definitely the most professional and honest place ive ever gone) and not only did they pierce a rook instead of a dath but they placed the industrial at an angle that was too far to the edge on one side and a damaging placement on the other side. Went back so my freind could get a free dath peircing and the owner was severely confrontational. Started an arguement with me when i wasnt even talking to him. I wouldnt not take anyone there ever again. Severly unprofessional and theyre only concerned about the money not the quality of peircing.

I looked at the other reviews and it seemed like it was a good place! So I called to ask about piercings. When they didnt answer after two tries, I shouldve took that as a sign. But my mom and I decided to just take a chance and drive over there anyways. This was on a Friday, well past noon, and there was absolutely no sign of anyone there. Nothing was on the door or on their website saying why they werent open, so then I felt bad about making my mom waste gas and 40 minutes of her life, all because this place has a hard time committing to their job. I really wanted to like this place too, but Im just not down for supporting a shop thats not even open when theyre suppose to be. :(

This is the second time coming in to see Doughboy, at first when he was recommended I kind of felt uncomfortable however; once meeting up with him he is a very pleasant person and easy to talk with. I told him want I wanted and he was professional and gave me a few options. I went with his ideas and couldnt be happier. I highly recommend for you to visit Doughboy at Absolute Tattoos off Highway 90 West. Dont judge the outside of the shop because once inside - you will walk into a VERY CLEAN SHOP and a whole different atmosphere. 5 STARS for SURE *****

I have two tats and got them both here. My first was simply because the place was convenient and seemed sanitary. My second was because Ill never go anywhere else but there and never seen any other artist but Jerry. They are extremely sterile, helpful, patient and nonjudgmental. Jerry Lee in particular is very clean and careful. I really appreciate the work he did and am forever thankful! I love this place and hope to get more work done soon!

Went in for a walk in didnt know what to get or what to expect lucky Michael helped me with everything got a bad ass rosary on my chest hes really professional and very patient hes definitely good artist you will not be disappointed ,if you get tatted here your getting your moneys worth Im going back to get my ears pierced I will be going back to complete my chest

The "artist" Doughboy is an okay tattooist, but he has no imagination. I have had 2 pieces done by him and both had to be gone back over. When my wife asked for a specific design, he was unwilling and unable to do any tattoo that didnt come off of google image. There are no portfolios in this place and its mediocre at best. Go here for cheap work

Dough boy is a dope artist...I went to lackland for school so he gave me a instant appt with a great price and even called me in early when someone canceled. He was very professional and outstanding quick work. Best of all I had my bicep tattooed with no pain and I will be going back here real soon...

My daughter went in to get a nose piercing. Dough boy hooked it up, very professional, and very clean, quick and painless. Told us if we had any questions after we left and there are no dumb questions and to call him. We will definitely go back cuz I need a cover up lol.

Had a one-foot side piece tatooed with little pain, but making good timing. The artist was able to exceed the standard of tattoo I desired by going above and beyond and making the tattoo better. Excellent price for an even better tattoo. Tattoo was done by Doughboy.
