I wanted to avoid ship/hand fees, so I drove a couple of blocks and visited this place to buy the PUG BATH TUB for newborns. By the way, my sister frequents this place for my niece and nephew. First off, the PUG BATH TUB, didnt fit my bathroom basin and then this expensive piece of foam literally caused my newborn to fold up. Since this is an established business, I brought the tub back to them for a refund or credit. To my surprise, the young lady who completed the order for me two days before informed me that DUE TO HYGIENIC REASONS, THEY COULDNT ACCEPT THE TUB. So of course, I informed her that the tub was useless to me, because it couldnt accommodate my baby. She replied, "Thanks for the honesty, but we cant accept it..." This simply translates to, "We cant re-sell it, therefore, youre stuck and we dont value your business, and wont go take an extra step to inform the manufacturer that the product was not satisfactory for the customer; on top of that, we wont even take a $40 loss (like you will) and issue a store credit!" Poor business...will never go there again and wont even think about recommending them to anyone. HEB, Walmart, even Wholefoods would simply credit you or issue refund-no argument. Guess I have to support the giant corps!

My husband and I attended the Baby University event Saturday 11/15/2014. We are going to be parents for the first time. Our baby is due June 4th. We knew absolutely nothing about planning, pregnancy and being parents. We didnt even know what questions we should be asking. This event really gave us a great jumping off point. We learned so much. The topics were great as were the vendors. The raffle was so generous. And what a great price for all that we received, and that includes the knowledge not just the material items. My friend forwarded the information for this event to me and told me about your store. Im very thankful that we attended and so excited to register there. I have recently converted all of our skin and hair care products, as well as most household cleaning products, to all natural. So Im very excited to have been introduced to a baby store that allows me to carry that over into the care of our baby. So thank you very much!!

First of all, this place is cheaper (or at least the same price) than Babies R Us, Target, Buy Buy Baby, WalMart and in some cases, even Amazon. Dont believe me? Look for yourself. Second, they carry all the high-end stuff that those places dont. I went in to look at the Britax Chaperone to see if it would fit in my car. The sales person pulled it off the shelf, carried it out to my car for me and helped me determine that it will not fit in my car. They also knew which car seats would fit with which strollers and were just in general very helpful. They also offer a 10% military discount with ID. Try to get THAT at Target. Bottom line is it is a locally owned and operated business that carries nicer stuff for less money. I cant imagine why anyone would shop anywhere else.

If you are looking for baby/children items, you need to visit this store-its well worth your time. This is the warehouse for their online store. They have a all their items on display and you get 10% for buying in the store. There staff is great; they know they products and are attentive and helpful even when busy. You can tryout putting car seats in your vehicle-which was the main reason for my visit. Also they carry the newest and top of the line items(carseats). This is a must visit store for child car seats, furniture, bouncers, bikes and everything else possible. Great staff and store!!

While Baby Earths website is pretty good, nothing compares to shopping at the store. Our little ones are now in elementary school, so our shopping now is for baby shower and birthday gifts - and the staff is great at showing what is new and popular. There is also a wide range of classes offered - and they have regular car seat inspections (reservations required) available. Easy to get to and rarely crowded -- this is the only baby store we shop in and recommend - especially to our friends looking at car seats. Well worth the trip to Round Rock.

Hard to believe its been three years since we used our gift certificate (and a lot more) shopping at Baby Earth. We went back for multiple classes, and truly made lifelong friends. We have donated some of our original baby things (playset, bouncy chair, baby carrier) now that our baby is a busy toddler, but we continue to shop both at the store and online. The staff is always so incredibly helpful, the few returns weve had have been problem-free, and the prices are great. We recommend it.

Better then amazon and will price match some things if you simply ask. Everyone is always super nice, I mean it. Baby earth offers local customers free classes and a great retail store to bring your kids or family. I am very happy we found Baby Earth and that it is only a short drive from where I live. I couldnt imagine having to wait 3-4 days for shipping or buying lower quality items from commercial stores. Baby Earth is a roll model for baby related product stores.

This place can be pricey but the staff are super awesome. My friend was expecting a baby and signed up to get a few items from the place. I wasnt expecting the welcoming vibe I felt when I entered the building. A very kind lady talked to me about the advances in cloth diapers for so long I felt bad for her but I found exactly what my friend wanted. I will totally visit this place again if any of my other friends get knocked up.

We went there because they are one of the few stores in town that carry Cybex infant seats. The store is very nice and they have a wide variety of products on display. The staff was very helpful and let us try several seats out in our car. They also helped me try out baby carriers and gave me a weight correct doll to use to practice with. They have a website but it looked like some of the stuff was on a store only sale.

There are a lot of organic cotton products, and things that you cant really find anywhere else -- but that also means that everything is a little overpriced. The staff are helpful, there are classes here which I plan on checking out, and its got a great vibe to it. Dont be put off by overzealous employees who try to force unwanted parenting and pregnancy advice, not everyone there is like that, but there are a couple.

Highly reputable retailer of baby gears, family-owned and started right here in Austin. Their showroom stocks a much wider array of essential baby gears such as cribs, strollers, car seats, high chairs, etc., when compared to a big box store like Buy Buy Baby or Babys R Us. Since their showroom and their warehouse are the same building, they can even deliver on the same day if they have the items in stock.
