Perfect for our wedding at Event 1013, Plano TX on 3/3/12 We had tried YOBS a couple times, as we were looking for a small independent bbq place. Although all their reviews reflect their burgers, their BBQ is SO DAMN good. It was so good that we catered our wedding of 150+ people by them. I cant even express how professional, well-mannered, and clean the service was. They showed up perfectly on time, set aside a dish for the bride and groom, served all 150 people, and ill be honest, the BEST part about them was the price, right next to the food. The Potato Salad got so many praises, and so did the turkey. They cleaned up, and were perfect for a casual wedding! I can not recommend them enough for lunch, but even for catering reasons, because after shopping around, NO ONE can beat their price, and there is NO reduction in service or quality of the food. Just remember to call them instead of email, the responses are MUCH faster.

Ok, had not heard about this place ever until last weekend. Ive lived 5 miles from this place for the past 5 years. I wanted a good burger not like the fast food chains. Went there today....it.....was awesome!! I had the buffalo burger with cheese and onion rings. They were phenomenal. The meat was very nicely cooked, the bun was great, the burger, all around, was great. I will be go there again and again. Anyone in the area looking for a good place to eat, you have got to go here. Great food and it was reasonably priced.

A bonafide staple of Plano, TX. This home town butcher shop does pretty much everything related to meat, no matter the kind. With daily specials such as a Deer Burger or even Elk, they offer exotic, while still delivering an amazing burger. The Buffalo Burger is one of the best and paired with tater tots, who can resist. Lets also not forget that they do actual butchering here too.

Ive been in Allen since 1999 and had no idea that store was there. I made a comment about how I wish there was a butcher around so I could get some fresh meat to smoke/grill. My wife, who had just moved up here a year ago, saw your store on a drive by. God I love her. The brisket I bought from you guys was stellar. It smoked so good. Was a wonderful cut of beef.Ill be back for more

Ive lived in the area for over forty years and, believe it or not, I only recently discovered Ye Ole Butcher Shop. Tasty buffalo burgers and sides (half order is plenty) and really delicious fried pies. Weve bought some bacon there too and it was really really good. Great staff and atmosphere too. Highly recommended! Keep up the good work.

Its difficult to beat a delicious buffalo burger... Ye Ole does knows how to make it right. Great food, reasonably priced and the staff is friendly and outgoing. If you dont like waiting, youll have to suck it up. The line is never too long, but the food is made fresh and it can take a few minutes before they call your order. Highly recommend :)

Had a buffalo burger here for the first time in my life. It was truly an experience, one of the best burgers ive ever had. Nothing like the hipster burgers with 10 toppings and its 18 dollars. This is what you expect from a good burger at a great price. Also its buffalo (they have beer burgers too). Will return asap

Been coming here for over a year and theyve never failed to impress me. Best burger Ive ever had, close to work, inexpensive, very friendly staff, really feels like home. May get busy if you come during lunch hour but thats what happens when you have the best burgers in town.

So yummy! I always feel energized after coming here, always have leftovers- Huge portions, really good food, friendly folks. They have Weekday Lunch Specials, a different one each day. If you are coming on Friday, make sure to get there early (11:30am!), seats fill fast!

Heard so many good things from different people that have good their meats and burgers are. Finally found time to go and have a burger there this last summer, and I was underwhelmed. It is just like many of the places around town that serve a good burger is just not great!

I was in town for a business trip recently and our client took us here for dessert. I didnt get to try any of their entrees, but their fried pies were excellent. I was told to try the Chocolate pie next time I am there as they were out when we arrived.

Went there to pick up 1 turkey leg in the spirit of the fair....stood there for 30 minutes then watched them give some one else a leg that came in after me.... asked for a refund n left... really too bad cause I liked the mood and the decor

Really tasty burgers including buffalo, deer and elk. Great place to run in and get steaks, burgers or sausage to grill. Am trying them this year for deer processing stay tuned for how that goes.

Arguably the best burger in town, and hands down the BEST sweet potato fries. The Monday special (Hog burger) is a particular favorite of mine. Expect a crowd at lunch.
