If theres one place to take some who wants to have a pretty authentic Chinatown experience in Plano, I take them here. If you dont already know, this supermarket is also a great food court and bakery. There a good Vietnamese place, an Asian bakery (where you walk around with a tray and grab a bunch of different breads) where they also do cakes and a cafeteria style dim-sum. I also find myself going here for Asian ingredients if I cant find it anywhere else. The 5 stars is for the overall experience, though Ill say that the bakery, while its really impressive in variety, is not the decent but not the best in the area. However, I still highly recommend it because its a really fun cultural experience especially if youre not familiar with Asian grocery stores and bakeries. Overall, everything ranges from pretty good to great and youll be hard pressed to find cheaper food thats this good. Its a fun place to meet up with friends because there are so many sights, smells, choices, and its really easy on the wallet. Try the dim sum for lunch (turn right when you walk in and go all the way to where the seating is) where you can pick a la carte dishes and fried stuff. If you just want a cheap meal, the Vietnamese place (cant miss it, there are neon lights all over it) has really cheap sub s sandwich deals.

Not bad but OK. But I have some good things and bad things to tell. The pros are that it doesnt smell that bad, theres a lot of cool stuff, and it reminds me of H-Mart. The jelly drinks taste nice. The yan-yans are great. Theres lotsa ramune. Theres even a mini beauty shop. Now for the cons, the bakery isnt that great. The Portuguese tarts are bland and not sweet. So is the strawberry cake. The cheesecake tastes very eggy. But the coconut-almond bread is good. Another bad thing is that I cant find my favorite noodles, that I can find at H-Mart. Also, the Chelsea candies had ants in them, gross, but not the ones at H-Mart. Overall, I find this place okay. Its not the best as H-Mart, but not that bad as the Hong Kong market in Richardson.

Really cool market. I have to admit, all I did was walk around. Not many labels, other than nutrition info (mandated by the government), are in English. I asked staff for help finding a few things and figuring out what things are. What I really liked was the produce section. They have lots of stuff I like that is not available in traditional grocery stores like bok choy. Their produce looked really good the one time I went, but it does smell like fish a lot in there since they have a huge fish area in the back. They also have little stores in the front where you can buy things like cooking utensils and rice cookers, etc. They have their own shopkeepers, so Im not sure if its part of the store or just leased space.

This is a small shop, and its a little confusing in its layout, but I loved it. There are plenty of unique Asian styled foods, along with the American staples. Their meat and fish are beautiful, and theyll prep your fish however you want it done. There is also a bread shop inside that has amazing breads and fun rolls stuffed with all sorts of delicious things like onion, butter, cheese, hotdogs and mushrooms. The restaurant What The Pho is also inside, they have great food, their Pho is amazing. Their Boba Teas are large servings so be prepared!

When this cashier was intensively chatting with another employee in Vietnamese while i stand there, and she didnt pay any attention to what she was doing. I was charged the items that were not mine, I pointed out that to her but instead i got the blames and insults from her. I have been to 99 Ranch shopping for many years and at many different locations. This is the first time i have ever encountered such a bad behaved employee. It is the time to move on. Good bye 99 Ranch market.

What the Pho.... Its also in the other 99 Ranch in Carrolton. 3/5 for the seafood department, the service is 5/5, but the management needs to think about how to change the place from the messed up situation. The market is smelly and so crowded during weekend. The meat department is helpful and the meat is fresh. Whether the fish and grocery is fresh or not changes from time to time. Parking is fine and seems to be safe to park in the parking lot.

This is in the same strip mall as Daiso, at Spring Creek and 75. Good Japanese-style patisserie as you enter, although its somewhat hard to differentiate some of their baked goods, as they can taste alike. Groceries tend more towards Chinese although most Asian countries are represented to varying degrees. Decent sake selection although the Plano H Mart might be somewhat better.

THE Plano area grocery store for Asian foods. Theres a deli for hot food. A pastry shop. If you havent been there, you should check it out. NW corner Spring Creek Pkwy at Hwy 75. Cannot see it from Spring Creek. Nearly all packages have English AND Chinese descriptions with clearly marked prices. I havent found anyone working there who doesnt speak English.

Its like a mini city in a mall. here you get the typical items you would get at a super market. They have a nice bakery, lots of choices, an amazing selection of almost everything you can think of , and a prices are really affordable. One should definitely check out this place and explore its offerings.

If you want a feel for Asian groceries, visit here. Their seafood selection is amazing. I havent see that big frozen fish that you can handle yourself. The selection of Asian produce is also very plentiful. Some of the fruit was huge. I dont know why Kroger doesnt sell huge Jack fruit like this place.

This stores massive selection of Asian produce, meats and goods in general will keep that contingent of your family happy! Reasonable prices, a good selection, and as a bonus they always have plenty of check out lines in operation to keep customers moving as fast as possible.

This is one of favorite grocery store and asian eatery in Plano! I go here weekly. Whether its to chow down on the delicious food at What The Pho, buying hard to find sweets and groceries or eating at their delicious bakery. My family and I are thoroughly addicted!

The Chinese customers here are rude and without manners, they will cut in front of you many times and play Koi about it. Be prepared to hold your line like an animal or theyll rip it out of your hands. Other than that a nice place to go shop for oriental food.

I was so happy to find 99 Ranch Market when I moved to Texas. There are so many ingredients that my family uses to cook our food with at this store. Moving from Hawaii and finding rice, Aloha Shoyu, and nori to make musubi is a big deal, Lol
