I have been going to Kroger for 20 years. This location is a very good one. PROS - Very clean store; friendly and helpful staff; location; excellent "fuel station"; Fresh sushi; Starbucks inside. Best pharmacy!!! CONS - Poor produce department; they just stop carrying items out of the blue; top selling items run out of stock QUICKLY; need better stocking; Find too many expired items.....CHECK EVERY EXPIRATION DATE BEFORE PURCHASE. This has been a big issue for several years. Also.....with Allen being so diversified, the store needs to carry better options, especially in Italian food items. Suggest Sclafani San Marzano D.O.P. and Muir Glen Organic Whole Tomatoes with Basil. Also carry THEE times the amount of Raos Marinara.....its always sold out.

This has to be the worst Kroger in the chain. The out of stocks are ridiculous. Empty shelves everywhere forces me to visit only for things I cannot find at Whole Foods and Walmart Market. This is not something new, 5+ years of incompetent management at the store. Have complained directly at least twice and recieved the standard corporate reply..."we will pass your comments on to store mangement". Occasionally gets better for a couple weeks and then right back to empty shelves. So much competition in the area and this store just does not care. We are now at 25% of our weekly grocery purchases at Kroger - used to be 75%. Rather spend more at Whole Foods than be frustrated.

This is a great store in my neighborhood. It has fresh made sushi and a Starbucks inside the location. They have a great deli with a nice selection of meats and cheeses. They also have a well appointed bakery. You can rent RedBox movies inside the store. One great new feature is being able to shop for items with their app and pick them up at a scheduled time in the parking lot. Very convenient. Did I mention that they also give you a discount off of gasoline when you shop for groceries? It usually makes it the cheapest place in town to get gasoline. Its easy to get to and to get in and out of. They have a drive-thru pharmacy, too. Self-checkout is a breeze.

I had to pick up a couple of perscriptions at the pharmacy for someone getting their wisdom teeth removed. They had one of the perscriptions and it was $4 which suprised me. The percadan perscription they did not have but they called around to the competitor pharmacies in the area and let me know which one had it while I waited. Rita I believe was the person who helped me. I didnt ask them to do it, she took the liberty of doign it herself. I am impressed.

The hired help have been a lot friendlier lately, but recently they have slacked off. The cashiers are ignorant of the "Scan-Right" ? guarantee - you get one item free if it rings up at a different price than the shelf price. Only exceptions are beer/wine and tobacco. When I try to get something for free that doesnt ring up right, they are either ignorant of the rule, or say it doesnt apply to meat/produce/etc.

Great and friendly service the staff is very helpful and it is very clean The customers however , I have never felt so uncomfortable In my life the drivers will try to run you over and they look at you I. The store as if you are a bother. Not sure what goes on in this community. Kroger does an excellent job of keeping food fresh and prices low

The customer service was adequate and what I expect from a Kroger, but the dairy section was lacking in quantity of items! A lot of the dairy shelves were empty and it was only a Monday evening! I expect them to be much more filled, especially coming from other stores that have full shelves that are constantly filled without such holes.

This location used to have the best sushi of any Kroger I have ever been to until a few months ago. They hired new sushi chefs and it sucks now. Rice tastes funny (sour) and the ingredients in the rolls are just do not have a good flavor. The ginger is nasty too. I used to buy it and eat it alone but now its bland.

The worst produce on the planet.........Last ad was for peaches at 99 cents a pound. Picture was of a baseball size peach. Real size slightly more than a babys fist. Beware of Kroger prices. They are the highest in the industry, except for Tom Thumb and Albertsons which are the disgrace of the industry.

Great place to shop. Lines can be too long at times including the express lane. Always check the expiration dates because the products arent always stocked properly. Otherwise, Kroger is a great place to shop. Love their Simple Truth products and Simple Truth Organic products.

Its a clean store and nice people working there but recently the store has gone down hill. The store is poorly stocked and when they do stock the store it seems they choose to do so during busy times. I love Kroger just not this one Im looking for a replacement.

I like it when I go shopping at Krogers. I just dont go there often because its such a large store and its always really cold in there but, otherwise they have a lot of products that I like to buy so, Im pleased with it. However, I always take a short list.

It is always clean, the people are friendly. I rarely do not find what Im looking for. Baggers need to be more careful about putting hard or heavy items with produce and cleaning materials with food, particularly produce that may not be peeled!

I travel all over north Texas and this has the best sushi and freshest produce! I have a signature Kroger closer to me that does not have as good of a selection of steaks. Even though it is smaller, and farther, it is my favorite one to go to!

Store management seems to refuse to correct short comings with Self-Serve check-out rgisters, In-store customer service staff are poorly selected and/or trained. Cant wait for rumored HEB to come in accross the street

Good clean store. However, they still do not stock "Chocolate Lucky Charms". I have asked 4 times now. Tom Thumb stocks the rare cereal. Cant seem to pursuade the store manager to budge.

Not the best looking interior, but you have almost anything you may need. As usual, get the free Kroger card(no need for the card, just use your phone number) to save some money

The pharmacy at the east Allen Kroger is fantastic. They are so patient and willing to answer all of my questions not to mention friendly and personable!

Good grocery store with gas station. They have fresh tortillas in the bakery, which are very good. Theres a self check out which is usually pretty fast.

Only went once and wont return. I measured the meat I bought there (am on a diet) and was shorted 3-4 ounces on the salmon I bought as well as a steak.
