Made a trip several times to the Red Raider Donuts Shop and have always enjoyed the service and Donuts but it seems the running theme if you used a debit card you always get the "Buy More" from the owner. I come in to get a $2 sweet roll and I get met with "Buy More" or do you have cash. 1. No.... I do not have cash and #2 I want one sweet roll no more no less. Heres my point. If you except debit.....except debit. If not, put CASH ONLY on your door and move on. Dont make it inconvenient for your customers to pay for your product. Word to the wise. Have cash on hand or go else where. Dont waste your time if you dont have cash.

As first light descended on Red Raider Donuts this morning the wife and I picked out 1/2 donuts like a couple of children, excited by the colors and smells. Having been somewhat let down last week by a big name shop we gave RRD a shot and was not let down. When it comes to cake dohnuts (blueberry being my favorite) they had a good selection. The big surprise for us was the plain glazed cake donuts, they have a rich flavor and wonderful texture. Overall very good, not crazy sugary like Krispy Kreme, and more flavorful that Dunkin Donuts we plan to return soon.

This, unfortunately is the best donut shop in Lubbock. None of that artificial chemical taste of Dunkin or KK. The prices will make you feel like youve gotten away with something and the hard working owner is there 7 days a week from 6 am until 1pm! Why unfortunately then? Because its minutes from my house.

First of all the attendant wasnt friendly I ordered kolochi and she charged my for the jumbo kolochi I didnt specify I wanted the jumbos. Secondly I wasnt even given mustard. Thirdly I asked for mixed, half jalapeño half reg and I just received reg. More than likely wont be back.

Dont have much to say. Pretty typical donut place, nothing too special about it. Only negative thing was that they have a credit/debit card minimum when purchasing, you have to purchase +$2.00 in order to use cards. They do have a drive through though which is a cool plus.

We try desperately hard to not eat donuts very often but damn, this place makes it hard not to eat 13 ! Always fresh, warm and perfectly delicious!
