Before I complain, in all fairness, I was told that it might be a hardware problem instead of software issues. I was also promised that they would install my saved information onto my any other computer. However, this would be an additional fee. Too much guesswork about what the problem was - - - - - - -- I paid over $200.00 just to have the hard drive copied. I had no choice but to pay it. It was an emergency situation and I feel like the employees knew this. I just cant believe it would cost that much to copy information. Hard drives only cost $75.00 and I would not have been so shocked if I the amount had included the hard drive with my info on it. I ended up taking the computer to the people I usually use in Tyler and the it was quickly discovered that the "mother board" was ailing with no prescription to be saved. This was done at no charge. So, I had to buy another laptop and was still out the $200.00. My computer guy at CompuQuest in Green Acres Shopping Center, will be glad to copy the old drive and install it for me at no charge. I am sure he would normally charge for this, but since he feels sorry for me at this point (being out the $200.00 for a simple service) he said he wont charge me. Debbie Lone Star Legal Tyler,

Over the years Ive taken computers from both my business and personal ones to Computer Time for repair. Most of the time they can actually fix the problem, sometimes a computer is just too far gone. But they never lost a byte of data that was at risk. I know that a lot of their business is with banks, hospitals, schools and such. I figure if they can do all that, they can certainly recover my sons birthday photos!

Ive had a few computer repair companys in the past and computer time beats them all hands down, no contest for price, reliability, and tech support. They cant be beat!!!
