If you are having a bad day and need a good joke to uplift you, check out their customer service. Its a total joke! Starting from the Customer Service desk up to the store manager. I went to purchase a grill and they didnt have it in stock. They said that in two days they will have the grill and assembled. So two days later, I called and they said it wont be ready until Monday (putting it at about 4 days later). So Monday comes, and I never heard from them. So I called (because why on earth would they call me to update me....) and they told me that the grill is not ready and it will be another week. A WEEK! Im glad I called because they sure as hell werent going to bother. Then a week later, I call to check on the status (because again, they wont let you know...), and they said that the grill still isnt there, and wont be there until the following Wednesday IF it makes it. Are you kidding me? I spoke to the manager about this terrible customer service. His response was another joke. He said he was going to do anything he could to get that grill and have it assembled that same day for me. He was going to call me back as soon as he found it or couldnt find it. Either way, he was going to let me know. Guess what? Never bothered. This guy is as big of a joke as his Customer Service department. Im hesitant to ever buy anything from Home Depot again after this. Thank God for Lowes.

This was beyond ridiculous. I was forced to call them 10 times, everytime I would ask a question they acted as though I was putting them out by making them answer and as soon as they would answer they hung up. No good bye, no can I help you with anything else. I tried to speak to a specific department first the lawn and garden, I asked if they handled a product, they said no and told me it was on isle 20 (I was not in the store) but they could not transfer me because they did not know the number!!! I was forced to hang up and call back, I then waited on hold for 10 minutes, I heard them pick up the call and could hear them talking to another employee about lunch, then they hung up. I would have called to speak to a manager but after dealing with this for over an hour I did not have time. Their customer service is an absolute shame. I will not go to this or any Home Depot again. I would rather drive out of my way and go to Lowes (Who by the way was very helpful and was able to answer my questions in less than five minutes) then give Home Depot any more of my business. I am a first time home buyer, that currently needs to purchase everything from tools and lawn and garden equipment to ceiling fans and flooring, none of these items or anything else I need will be purchased from Home Depot.

This is only pertaining to the garden brick walls sold at Home Depot. I saw the different color stones and different style caps to go with the wall stones. I purchased the limestone wall bricks and was going to get the caps later in the color I needed later. Assuming with the display of different color walls, that I could do so. The style was there, but the color was different. The wall caps that they had displayed were 12"x 9", but were for a straight away. I have a lot of curves and needed some of the wedged style, which they had in a pecan color. I went back to get the rectangular 12"x 9" and some wedged style and was shocked, they know very little about this product and little help they can give. Feeling helpless, I called the stone place myself, because no one else attempted to find out more. Home Depot were looking for the brochure for the product. I didnt believe they would sale a product showing multiple examples, as though it could be done in any color, but in each color not having the same pieces to complete each and every color. The Company did not make those wedges in limestone and I would have to make my own angle pieces. I feel there should be sign expressing not all pieces and color pieces are available.

Company policy is NO PETS. I am all for service animals, but people forget that there are those of us out there that have life threatening asthma and allergies. People who think their pets belong with them in the store place those of us with these conditions at risk. The department of justice has 2 questions retailers are allowed to ask people who bring animals in their store. They need to train their employees to ask these questions when they see an animal in the store. Anyone can buy a service best for a dog. Any one can claim that their dog is a service animal, but the animals behavior will give then away. I see non service animals in this store every well. Last week one jumped up on me before I even knew it was behind me. The management of this location do not respect customers with disabilities. They are in a wealthier community, and pander to the elitist clientele. I also live here. The next closest store is not in such a location. I go there maybe once for every 20 times I go to this one, but statistically, I should have seen the same problem as often as I go. I havent. 2 problems here. Elitist clientele, and management that panders to them, despite corporate policy.

I moved to Katy in 2006 and have remodeled my home throughout those 4 years. I have reached my $4,000 credit limit 5 times and have paid it off each time over the years. I have spent over $ 22,000 at this store. Looking back I don’t know how I could pour my hard EARNED money into a company with such horrible customer service, with the exception of the paint department, they are the only department with manners. I have had to search for help and the employees either avoid me, act as if they are completing a project or just have conversations with each other without even giving me a hey how are you today. I do not write many reviews but I am tired of working hard and providing great customer service at my job and not getting the same in return. The management team is non-existent and the reps lack professionalism. Please take this review as truth. If you don’t believe me you can go see for yourself. I will refuse to step foot in the store again and if you need advice on your home project you should do the same, they dont help. I hope someone from home depots management reads this so a change can happen. I wish I could start a company that makes money and does not assist customers.

Terrible. Weve delayed our renovation for 3 weeks waiting on a vanity that was supposed to have arrived 3 separate times. We called corporate customer service, customer service at this location, and even walked in to stand in front of them until someone acknowledged we existed. People promised package delivery dates 3 separate times, people promised to call back and then didnt, we were told wed be compensated with a gift card and didnt receive anything, we were told a special resolution team was assigned to us, and as it stands.. we still dont have the item we ordered. I cant believe anything they say because theyve already told me the same thing 3 times in a row. The in store customer service desk is understaffed and customers out numbered staff 6 to 1. They rarely pick up the phone when we called before going and it was clear that they practically never pick up the phone while youre standing there too. No manager in sight, nor apparently willing to even grace the front counter with his/her presence. If we ever do receive a gift card it will likely be the last time we ever shop at home depot again. 6/24/2014 Update: They did it again!!!!!! Thats 4 times in a row!
