Great Shop! Always very clean and the artists do top notch work. Heres what really sold me on the... On my first visit, I had an idea for what I wanted and few reference photos. I consulted with an artist who was honest enough to do two important things that spoke to their professionalism and dedication to doing the best work possible: 1) He told me that my idea would not hold up in color over the long term and that black & grey was a better option for longevity. 2) He said that a different artist in the shop was a much better fit for what I had in mind and had me finish the consultation with his colleague. It would have been years before the negative effect of having him do the piece in color would have become apparent, but he gave up the opportunity to earn the fee for himself in order to make sure that I got the best tattoo possible. That told me all I needed to know. I got the tattoo with the other artist and he absolutely killed it. (Jerry Enriquez).

I came into Rose & Anchor Tattoo trying to see if it was possible to get a cover-up done. I had already went to a couple shops beforehand, and they all turned me down saying it was too difficult to cover up. Well, I spoke to Erik, and he not only was very kind to me, but he took a sketch of what I needed covered up, he also called me in a prompt amount of time and let me know what he could do for me. I went in last weekend and got the 1st session done of the cover up, it is amazing! I am so happy about this, the service was awesome and my tattoo is impeccable! If I dont know anything else, I know that Erik has found himself a lifetime customer... Any tattoos that I will be wanting, hes my man. I will be continuing to go here for all my tattoo needs. Rose & Anchor was very clean, sterile, and everyone working there were very friendly and courteous.

One word describes my experience at Rose and Anchor... phenominal. Artistry was top notch, shop was meticulously clean, and customer service was above and beyond great. Even though some changes needed to be made to the design the day before my appointment, Erik and Victoria didnt skip a beat, made all the revisions and were still able to keep my appointment. Shading, linework and saturation were so good that I didnt need a single touch up after healing. I couldnt have asked for anything else with this tattoo and I wouldnt change a thing about my experience. It was well worth the hour drive across Houston.

I have been going to Firebird Tattoo Studio since December of 2010 to be tattooed by Clamore Wolfmeyer. He has completed both of my traditional sleeves at this location and I couldnt be more satisfied. Though the shop may not be in the nicest of Katy strip centers it is still a clean and reputable shop. I have always encountered a nice greeting from the other tattooers when I stop by to see Clamore. I definitely recommend giving this shop a chance and disregard the negative posts below about drug use and rude attitudes. I dont drink or smoke and I wouldnt be in a place that allowed that.

Showed up on a Friday at about 7, only on artist was there and we were told the owner would be in at 8. We returned around 8:30, still just the one person working. We were told they opened at noon on Saturday and a really good artist would be in then. So we came back then doors were lock up we waited till almost 1:00 but no one showed up. This establishment needs to learn how to run a business, they could do killer work but if there not there when they say they are it is waste of there customers time.

I went into Rose & Anchor Tattoo looking to get a quality Aztec/Mayan tattoo. This place is clean and the Owner and Artists are very professional. I must say that I was so impressed by the work that was done! What was going to be just a decent sized tattoo turned into a half sleeve that I am super pleased with! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get Great Quality work, and I will be going back there for ALL future tattoos!

I have gotten about 50 plus tattoos from Various Artists since the age of 17, and Erik Del Rio is by far one of the best guys in the biz..He reworked one of my old tattoos that turned out great! He also did some script on my ribs, a portrait, and a Virgin Mary on my Left Bicep...All around Great Artist, dont think of going to anyone else these days, and I refer his work to everyone that asks...Clean Line work, smooth shading, and solid Colors..

my wife got work here and I had part of my sleve filled in. Artist name was Kilo (his nickname). the place is inmaculate and openly welcomes kids for those parents getting inked. While Kilo did the job I was not particularly pleased with his work even after going back for touch ups; this however does not reflect badly on the shop just in my selection of artist. I would have no problem trying out some of the other artists there.

It was all very good. Anything that either artist could control was done properly, their separate advices were similar and consistent for the care of tattoos and almost mirrored past advice. They got the tattoos drawn up, placed, done, and had payment on my girl and I both, in under 45 minutes, for nice small 1x3 inch tattoos. Thats pretty fast, and they are quality.

Ive never seen a tattoo shop that has looked this nice before. Everyone that works there is so helpful and friendly. All the tattoos I have are done by Matt Burgdorf. They came out really nice, and he made it easy to understand how to take care of the tattoos. I would highly recommend getting tattooed by anyone that works here.

I found this place being that its very close to home and convenient and overall very good reviews. The staff there is very professional . Rose and Anchor is top notch. Ive had over ten plus friends get work done by color dating back to his days at scorpion studios and they have just gotten doper and doper over the past ten or so years. Most of my work has been done by Chase Young who has always for great work and hooked it up for the greatest prices in Htown.

Great shop! Went with my wife and her mom on a Friday night. They were able to take all 3 of us even though there was an appointment coming in. They worked with us on the designs we wanted and helped us using their computer in the shop. The work done was amazing! When I get another tattoo, I will definitely go back here.

they won an award for a reason, stop reading this comment and go there already theyre alot friendlier than me, but then again I do have a history of high blood pressure, my doctor says its from my unhealthy diet like cigarettes, sodas, junk food, oxycodone, etc..anyway this is a great shop so....yeah
