Even though I live one minute away from this store, I chose to go out of my way and shop elsewhere. This is one of the trashiest stores! During my last visit (early on a weekday so business was slow), the parking lot was very overrun with trash and trash was overflowing from the garbage cans flanking the store entry. I walked in to see the manager shooting the breeze with two young male employees, when they should have been cleaning up this mess! Have a little pride, would ya! Do your job, manager! Just because your store is visited by some less than savory characters and is not in the best of neighborhoods, doesnt mean you have an excuse to be lazy and run a filthy store! Some of the employees are very nice and helpful, while others are not. Some seem downright bothered when you ask them for something, but that is their job! If you want to win more business, try cleaning up the parking lot and entry way! Power wash the sidewalk every once in a while! And please quit turning a blind eye to all the lazy a-holes who park in the fire lane rather than walk a few yards from the lot.

The meat department is terrible. The past several times I have purchased meat from either the deli or the meat department, the meat has spoiled within a day. I bought Everoast chicken from the deli and when I got it home and opened it, it smelled awful. How does something like that even make it on to the slicer?? I found some type of mystery meat and coagulated blood mixed in with my hamburger meat a couple of days ago as well. I wonder how many people get sick from buying meat here each day?? Yesterday I bought a package of bison for $7.99 with an expiration of 6/15 (today is 6/6) and the meat had gone bad within a day of being in my fridge. Im pretty sick of wasting money on this Kroger at this point.

While they sometimes have decent steaks more often than not they are turning grey and smell off. The general atmosphere stinks. Literally stinks, like poop. Anyone who has had the misfortune of shopping here regularly knows that the entry area smells like poop more days than it smells of bleach and heavy solvents. As for service? Let me say that the store manager is the biggest boob you will ever meet. The man has no business in an industry that is almost entirely based on customer service. He was rude and physically removed an item I was trying to by from my pregnant wife's hand. It was a horrific experience that ended a patronage that should have ended with the first poopy smelling visit.

I absolutely love this grocery store. Can I get a WOOHOO! No. Really. They put out these yellow woohoo stickers on tons of items throughout the store when they get close to the use by dates for massive savings. I tend to focus on buying things at a serious discount and freeze. Its like a fun scavenger hunt. Luck of the draw though. Sometimes the store is plastered in them sometimes not. Aside from that awesomeness the prices here are reasonable, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and the store is very clean and well laid out in my opinion. Its my favorite grocery store as of late.

Quaint, little Kroger. Staff members were polite and helpful! They staff members pointed me in the exact location of whatever I was needing to find, and that alone was a BIG PLUS! Seemed well managed and very organized. For an older and smaller Kroger it appeared to have everything the big size Krogers do. No self check out lines of course, but checkers were fast, so the lines went rather quick I must say. Good Job!!

This store has the worst customer service and the cashier are rude and you cant find the manager when you ask for him, and will talk to you like you are an idiot last time I was there it was the worst experience and I told them that there is tens of stores I can go to to get grocery from but they didnt care so bye to Kroger and welcom to Walmart after all better price and service

We just moved from GA, where Kroger was my go-to grocery store. We had a good experience in the store, but the cashier said I needed to call corporate for our senior discount. Corp. said they werent accepting any more seniors in to the discount program! So I guess Kroger cant be my go-to store anymore! They really dont care much for loyalty...or seniors.

My issue with this Kroger is that they never have a large selection of cakes in the bakery area. There is a particular cake called "Tuxedo mousse cake" that they never have and I then have to drive to another Kroger to get the cake that I need. This is just been an unpleasant store to deal with since I recently moved to this area.

The pharmacist are ALWAYS POLITE, and dont make people feel guilty about taking meds. Many many pharmacies make you feel like youre a second class citizen, if depending on what type of meds. Not Kroger! SO REFRESHINGLY KIND AND CARING. I recommend Kroger to my friends and family. Thank you, Ginger Countryman.

No management presence, ever. Recent remodel did not help the fact that they are still always out of something that I need when I go shopping. On one trip, after the remodel, we overheard one employee tell another "Its not my responsibility to play traffic cop and show everyone where stuff has been moved to."

Worst customer service, I went to the bakery dept. to get an edible image printed for a cake I was making and the cake decorator was rude, not only was she rude she was lazy and gave me a whole stupid explanation as to why she didnt want to print my image worst kroger Ive ever been to.

Ive been going to this Kroger for a couple years now. The staff is awesome. Whether I need a rain check or something high on a shelf, the people are kind and always ready to help! The prices and specials are well worth the time of getting a Kroger card. Thank you to the Hurst Kroger!

This Kroger is always clean, well-stocked, and the employees go out of their to help. Almost every time I go in, the dairy staff ask how Im doing and if I need help finding anything. That kind of service keeps me going back. That, and the prices for the quality doesnt hurt!

This is a chaotic store. Management is lacking and customers are left to fend for themselves. Ive never been to a grocery store where there are no registers open except the self-checkout with the lines across the aisle way into the aisles.

Okay for picking up a few items but frequently crowded and chaotic. Not a peaceful shopping experience. Prefer the Tom Thumb on Grapevine Highway or the Kroger Signature on Harwood for a better selection and a more enjoyable experience.
