My review today is on the reataurant food only. I will need to return to check out the store. It looks very interesting. Everything is fresh tasting and prepared well. Highly recommend the babaghanoug, roasted eggplant and pomegranate seeds! Yum. I ordered the shish kabob, 2 pizzas, salad, and falafel as well. The meat was beautiful, perfectly seasoned. The pizzas were little american-medi pizzas- perfectly acceptable, nice flavor on the tomato sauce, my kids ate them. The salad was very good. I was a little disappointed to see no option to purchase Flatbread. I did get falafel, but the batch was a tiny bit burnt, edible, but not entirely delicious. But the reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because of hummus. Hummus is probably 60% of the reason I choose Mediterranean and theirs has zero flavor. It doesnt taste entirely of chickpeas, to its credit, but paprika is the only discernable flavor in this sad sad hummus.

If you lived in the Middle East before you will certainly appreciate this store even more. Looking for hummus, fried Kibbee, Tabbouli definitely the place to go. Fresh bake pitta bread, Arabic selector of sweets, all fantastic. Sue who works there is so friendly that you can just seat there, grab some coffee and chat with her. I asked for Kanaffa, wasnt sure whether they bake it there and Sue said right away I will make one for you. She also taught me how to make Kanaffa at home. While she was explaing to me how I can make it she helped me choose the right ingredients!! Once done, my freshly baked Kanaffa was ready and I indulge in this divine desert. Totally forgot I had my shopping bags with me ha ha. I was just eating, chatting and enjoyed friendly ambience. Needles to say I recommend this place.

Definitely, the best store in town for Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fresh food. Everything is absolutely delicious, specially the sweets (the Warbat is amazing). They have a big oven and prepare everything right then and there. Their hummus is also delicious!! Plus, the staff is really nice. I got to meet the owner or manager of the store and he was really friendly and kindly answered all the questions I had about their different types of sweets and salads. He made me feel welcome right from the start. Their prices are very reasonable too. I can assure you that you wont be disappointed.

Nice grocery in Hurst. Much more convenient and MUCH cleaner than similar mediterranean/middle eastern grocers in Arlington, although their prices are just a little higher. Often out of fresh produce and not always good about labeling items with prices, which is frustrating. How hard is it to put a permanent label on your pita bread display? Havent tried much on the buffet, but have liked what I tried and you cant beat the price! However, the serve yourself buffet ends at 8pm, even though the store is open until 9.

I walked in today expecting this to be an overpriced corner store. Its not! Its so lovely. Its a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food market combined with a bakery, a deli, and a place to buy cheese and other items. The prices are extremely fair, too. I got to try anything from their homemade stuff that I wanted and I love that! The ladies there are incredibly nice, too. I hope this place lasts. Their current hours are (if I remember right) 9-9 every day except maybe Sunday.

I had a great experience at this store! I was looking for a Mediterranean store to pick up some items, because I live in an area thats limited in these types of stores. My aunt and uncle had recommended Goodys. I was not disappointed! The people were very friendly and generous! They allowed me to try all the different foods they had on the food bar. Some of the best Arabic/Lebanese food that Ive ever had! Would highly recommend this store!

Totally amazing food! What do I recommend you try? EVERYTHING! The shwarma is my recent favorite but all their sides are good too and you can taste that it is fresh. They are a little disorganized and I hope they stay that way because you can tell that they put more care into the food than hiring a few high school kids to follow some recipes. I think its all family and authentic and I hope it stays that way.

Everytime Im in the area I stop by for a delicious sandwich. If you are searching for a extremely clean and appetizing Mediterranean grocery store, Goodys is the place to go. They also serve fresh and hot pastries and sandwiches. The business is family owned and operated. They are very courteous and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

We came to Hurst for work and ended up eating here every single night. I forget her name but I think she is the owner, and she always gives us free deserts even after I accidentally put hummus and musaka in the same container without weighing them. Go to Goodys! Get the kibbehs!

NIce grocer for the city center, only place you can get fresh fruit and vegetables within 1-2 sq miles. They also have a constantly improving deli.
