Ive been shopping around for a few weeks now trying to buy equipment for a small gym I am trying to set up in one of my spare rooms. Ive shopped at Sears, Sports Authority, & came across Winston Fitness this past week. Im the type of person who researches a product by knowing what I am buying & for how much. I had no clue that Winston Fitness was right on the corner of Shepard near my home, but lucky for me it was. I stopped in during my day off to look at some equipment such as treadmills, weights, bicycles, etc. Immediately I was greeted warmly by an associate named John. We spent several minutes talking about specific items I was searching for. John was very knowledgable in every piece of equipment they had there & really took the time to explain what each machine did, muscles it would work, cost, and what he thought would work best for my goals. Ill tell you something, even though the prices were fairly similar to the competitors, I was sold on how great of an associate John was & the customer service he provided. I knew that if I were to have any problems or concerns in the future I would be helped without hesitation. I definitely will continue to repeat business with Winston Fitness as I slowly add more machines to my gym. Thanks again John & Winston Fitness!!!!

I made a "New Years" resolution to lose weight and get back into shape in January 17. I researched the Power Block dumbbells (U-90) online and saw where Winston Fitness had them in stock. Ive passed by Winston Fitness for years and never had a reason to stop by until now. John Lopez was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and enthusiastic about the dumbells despite it being near store closing! Needless to say, I made the purchase along with the Vectra Fitness Vector adjustable weight bench without feeling compelled to buy anything. Johns demure and my discovery in conversation we were both originally from Chicago sealed the deal for me and helped justify my purchase to my wife! I would be remiss if I didnt share my "highly satisfied" experience with John!

This is the 2nd treadmill I have bought from Winston Fitness and have always received great service. Last time it was a Pacemaster, this time got the Horizon Adventure 5. John Lopez was very helpful in my selection of the treadmill. He responded immediately to all of my requests. It is a sign of great service when I can get my questions answered and requests done immediately. The delivery was right on time. They did the set up, tested and made adjustments before leaving my home. I also walked on it while they were there to ensure no more adjustments were necessary since I am not the same size as the delivery guy. I am very happy with this purchase as well and will always buy my fitness equipment from Winston Fitness. Thanks John! Yvonne S.

I was driving along Shepherd Dr. Near 59 one day stuck in a bit of traffic, noticing my traffic stress was building up (for others road rage:) but then I happen to notice Winston Fitness, I went in there to distract myself & possibly by a Foam roller that my friends keep saying to get, not only did i purchase the foam roller I got me this new thing call an ElliptiGo "Ive drop 15 lbs in 2 weeks" am sure being outside the weather has something to do with it, but am enjoying this & getting in shape at the same time , (never thought I say being in traffic will be a positive one day) all I got say is if your stuck in traffic by Shepherd/59 Go to Winston Fitness and talk to John!

I decided to visit this store one evening and the salesperson who was closing the store at 7:15 (the store hours showed the closed at 7pm) invited me in to look around. He was very helpful and gave me 110% of his attention. He was not in a hurry to leave, he was there to help me. I decided to purchase a Life Fitness treadmill and he was able to set up my delivery. I have never experienced a retail shopping experience like this. This individual (John) and this company should be commended for providing the type of service we deserve and expect. Please do yourself a favor and shop with this company... you will be happy!

I was looking to upgrade my home weights and was looking for adjustable weights. I had it narrowed down to Power block but wanted to look at all the models. I went to Winston’s and met John Lopez the shop Manager. He was very nice, knowledgeable and help me tried all the different models. He answered all questions and even recommended things that I was not aware of. In the end, I bought a Sports 5.0 with stand and the he gave me a good deal on the price too. I don’t think you can beat good service and good price. This will be my future go to shop for fitness equipment, they have a ton of things.

I had already picked out a treadmill when I went to Winston Fitness, but John was very helpful in letting me test out multiple machines and making sure the machine I wanted would be suitable for the type of use. The delivery and set-up service was great and well priced. My treadmill was ready for use after about 20 minutes (probably would have taken me 3x as long). The return policy is very reasonable which can be really comforting when making such a big purchase. I will definitely be back to the store to check out the other equipment and try out the elliptigo bikes! very cool. Thanks, John!

I bought my first workout equipment from this store more than 20 years ago. Then last year my son bought a elliptical from them , saying they have the lowest price and the manager John L. was very helpful. I needed a spin bike and a treadmill for my home to train for a race. I bought both and have been very happy with Johns recommendation. Particularly the spin bike , Life Fitness GX, the best spin bike ever, quiet and efficient. Every time a friend comes over to try my bike, they wanted one, so we bought 5 so far. Great store and excellent service.

Was looking for an elliptical, Wanted a machine at home instead wasting time driving to the gym for some cardio. This would be my first machine so I wanted to actually test them. The place had all kinds of machines and I got on a few of them. It felt like I was at the gym. Ended up buying a Octane Fitness Lateral X machine. Its pretty smooth and its self powered. If youre checking out fitness equipment, I suggest going here. Talk to John cuz he was able to help me out with everything.

I recently was in search of a treadmill when I came across Winston Fitness. Im glad I did. They are extremely knowledgeable in all the different types of equipment on the market, and even gave me a personal recommondation based on what I was looking to accomplish. I was pleased with their knowledge and ended up getting at Life Fitness Treadmill. I highly recommend them if you are in search for any type of athletic equipment.

Recently visited Winston Fitness with my wife looking for fitness equipment for our home. The TuffStuff CDP-300 Dual Adjustable Pulley System was the model I selected. The store manager, John, was very helpful and answered all my questions, even checking with the manufacturer rep by phone to answer a few. The equipment delivery and set up was done within 2 days and very professionally. Very positive experience.
