Cigar Emporium is truly the best cigar shop I have been to. The owners, Van and Hong are very knowledgeable and are always welcoming. Upon my first visit, I was warmly greeted by Hong and I immediately knew this was home. As other cigar shops such as Cigar cigar have smoking rooms, you sometimes have to pay for a monthly membership. However, you get the privilege of smoking your cigars in Emporiums very cozy smoking room without having to pay for a membership! Cigar Emporium is also great at bringing complete strangers together. There have been several times when Ive bought some cigars and smoked one in the smoking room not knowing any of the other guys there. Pretty soon, we all engaged in conversation like were old high-school buddies, laughing and joking like weve been friends for years! All in all, the Cigar Emporium is an important staple in Houstons cigar industry as it has a selection of cigars that many other shops do not have, mostly because some cigar brands, such as Padron, are quite exclusive. Some shops wait for years on a waiting list to get Padron cigars, but Cigar Emporium is sure to have what you want. I have never been disappointed in any of my visits to the Cigar Emporium and I highly recommend it to any caliber of cigar aficionado!

Nice guy...but hes overly cautious; not with me but with a certain race (use your judgement). Hell follow them around as if hes making the worst assumptions. Quite blunt with his actions. Store has been cluttered in the past..getting better. Prices are higher. His humidor is awful though, humidity is too high and quite cluttered (almost unorganized). He has misters and the variance of condition depends on where in the humidor they are. Their events are pretty cool...and the regulars are nice guys. Not the best, but not the worst.

My husband I always make this our stop for quality tobacco on our road trips to Houston. If I lived in Houston, this would be the ONLY tobacco shop that I would frequent. They have everything that we need, and are a full service shop with a knowledgeable staff.

What a great place to spend your $$$$ to help support this B&M! Van and Hong are super friendly and helpful. They truely have a great selection of cigars and always have something new in or coming in.
