I went to Hampton Beverage on January 6, 2015 to purchase a McCormick Irish Cream Liqueur 750 ml gift set that came with two glasses. When I got to the register, it rung up $10.99. I was excited so I said “Oh yea”, but when I said that, the clerk said, oh you should have not said that, now I have to check the price. Now remember, the price was for the gift set and not the single bottle. Most gift sets are sold around the holidays and when not sold at that time, they are set at a reduced price. Well, the clerk would not sell the item at the price it displayed at the register, however she wanted to sell it to me at the hand written sticker price which displayed $13.99. I am a loyal customer and many other stores that are closer to me, but I prefer to shop at Hampton Beverage due to loyalty considering they was one of the 1st liquor store to open when voters voted to allow liquor stores in Glenn Heights. I left without my purchase and went down the street to a store that is closer to my residence. I think that is ridicules that the clerk would not sell me the item at the register price which was only $2 cheaper. To lose a loyal customer who rather shop at a store that is out of the way because of past great customer service and loyalty when he has two other stores that is closer (Spirits & Bear Creek Beverage) is a disgrace, especially during this time of cyber space. People always ask me why do I travel past two other stores just to go to Hampton Beverage. Now I don’t see the reason why.

First off the people behind the counter do not know what they stock or dont stock, except what they are running on a sale to try to get rid of. Went to make my purchase and the lady was so engrossed in offering me crap that I had no interest in buying she completely forgot to put a 4pk of shots and a small fireball bottle in the bag with the rest of my purchase. As a result, I did not realize until I was home 3 hours later that the items I paid $15 of a $42 tab of were not even in the bag. I called the place and Marsha, the lady who rang me up, claims she had no idea what I was talking about. Looks like I will have to file with my bank on this one as they had no interest in correcting their mistake and ultimately a theft of my money.

Its OK if you need to buy a little something and dont have time to go to TOTAL WINE like I do hint.. hint plug!! They can be a bit price, I guess supply and demand because its so close to the neighborhoods AND its a lot they dont have, undestandardbly being small. Its good for a little something on a very small scale.

They have a great selection if spirits to choose from for a great price! Theyre not a huge place, but they have all of the basics and essentials that you would typically get from a liquor store. The owners are friendly as well so it makes a better shopping experience

This place is way overpriced. To give you an example Ciroc in this liquor store is like $12 over price it was $42 normally Ciroc is like $29. Titos normally $25 at this place $31 this place is way overpriced,

Its close by the cedar hill area dont like the employees they watch you like you are trying to steal. Which is understandable but when I needed assistance about a product they werent much help.

Very busy liquor store...local clientele and staff. From mixers to top shelf spirits, this store has a good stock, not a great one, but sufficient for the pallette. Something is always on sale.

Prices are good. Clerks are friendly. If it is something you like but dont see it there they will order it for you. They are alway there to please their customer.

No service, only 2 shopping carts, cluttered, poor selection, ear-splitting "music." My first visit was also my last. We left and went to I-35 & Bear Creek.

The FIRST Liquor store in this area and the only one I go to when in Desoto. Great staff. Its not a big store but they have all the things you need.
