I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL CLOTHES TO THEM. In the past I have always donated my clothes to charitys or Good Will. But I soon found many clothes in my closet still with the tags on. So I was looking somewhere to sell my never worn clothing and get a decent amount of money back for it. I searched online and read reviews of this store and heard all good things. I read they give you a good amount of money back on the clothing, which was exactly what I was looking for. So of course I was excited and drove to the Frisco Location ready to sell my bag of in style clothes. I had several name brand clothes in the bag like Forever 21, Buckle, Rue 21, American Eagle, & Nike - and this is just to name a few. After I waited 45 minutes for them to go through my bag and decide what they wanted to buy from me, they offered me $20 total. Taking 7 items from me one being a $70 Buckle workout jacket, and another being a $45 shirt from American Eagle. I am highly disappointed and beyond frustrated with everything that went on. Personally , I believe I deserved more than freaking $20 for 7 quality name brand items.

Horrendous, terrible, thrift store with rude employees. AVOID THIS STORE. On attempt to make a sale, employee indicated 30-40 mins wait to return to store. When I return after 1.5 hour to enable employee to do their job, not only were they not ready but forced me to wait an additional 30 min, but rudely refused to let me sell any items, for no reason. What a waste of time!!! Additionally, store fails to offer Tax-Writeoff Receipt for items donated to charity. Would never offer my business to this store again, competitor "Closet Revival" is a much superior choice.

I sold here they asked me to wait it would be 30 min to get a estimate i got their at 4 didnt leave to 5:28 i brought in new name brand stuff will the tags on it they took it all but gave me a estimate of 40 bucks when i gave them a watch in excellent condition with a msrp of 150 and for everything they tried to give me 40 i didnt expect anything close to what i paid but i didnt expect them to give me a Gamestop offer and the customer service was awful they kept saying five more minutes after 20 mins i will not be back

Super clean, awesome music, way nicer/fancier/better custome service than Platos Closet. I dont consider this a thrift shop, but more a gently used/second hand clothing store. Literally every article of clothing I have ever bought from here I have gotten compliments on. They also have great sales, not to mention their designer jean selection with prices that are a fraction of what they would be new in the malls. Love love love Uptown Cheapskate. By far my favorite place to shop :)

The selection of second hand clothing is exceedingly good. In style, clean, great condition, and the store is VERY organised. The only drawback is they are also very picky when it comes to taking clothes in. I had 3 large bags of clothes, in pretty good condition, and they only took 3 items. When they do buy items from you, You get 1/3 of what they will sell it for, which is 1/3 of the market price. Not bad for cash up front for second hand clothing.

The worst customers service yesterday I asked the cashier about getting back my money if my son dint like the jeans she said yes I asked three time same question are you sure, today when I returned one of the jeans they said only store credit. Cloth is expensive to be thrift store you can buy new cloth in old Navy cheaper. Never come back here.

Brought some clothes in to be priced. Was told half an hour. I told them I was going to go next store. Over an hour later I walked to the counter to ask how much longer. They just the bag to the side. No apology for not calling or anything. Last time I go in!

Now im fine with people giving me my things back "sorry we dont have anything anyone would like" used to it blah blah blah. But when the employer says "that was a waist of time" thats just a little rude... Cute clothes bad service.

I come here about once a week on my lunch break. The store smells nice and is pretty clean. Finding items are normally a hit or miss but definitely work coming through and seeing what new items you can find.

Decent deals on quality clothes. They didnt pick much out of my bag of items to sell, but any purchase you make is tax free if you sell that day.
