Last month I went in with my wife and 2 other friends, bought several items, total was a little over $200 for a party we were having. A young Asian clerk rang up my bill and not polite, he was watching a football game and when there was a bad play, he made an explitive remark, we were shocked at the remark but didnt say anything...we hear a lot worse...but was unprofessional. I have no idea what his issue was, but I gave him $220. He rudely just slapped my change on the counter, not handing it to me and didnt say "thank you". Ive been in there many time and on at least 2 occasions, other custormers were treated badly by this same clerk. Im guessing it was my turn!!! Well, the best thing to do is to take my business elsewhere...and I did.

You can find rare specialty items like cloves (Djarum), bourbon-barrel ale, grappa and they are a better deal than chain competition across the street. Wine selection is okay, but the hard liquor and high-end beer selection is unbelievable.

Fine neighborhood liquor store that has been there forever. Not as flashy or stocked as the new upstarts, but the prices are good and the family who own it is friendly and helpful.
