I shopped here because it was convenient. I had a problem with one of the purchases. The owner went well beyond anything that he had to do and well beyond what anyone else would consider doing to make things right. He did such an impressive job I went back in and spent more money just because hes such a nice guy and really cares. Find someone who is engaged in what they do and youve hit on something special in this world of interchangeable staffing. These guys are top notch humans and this is my new Favorite Liquor store!

What a great little store! It has a great selection for the size of it and is convenient to anything downtown. The staff is amazing, the store has been owned and operated by the same family, in the same location since 1939, I have a feeling they arnt going anywhere. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood!

It may not always be the case but Ive had bad experiences here. Owner will be on the phone and act like youre interrupting him when you try to buy something. Their policy on credit cards changes day to day. Sometimes theres a minimum ,sometimes they take AMEX.

Great liquor store. The owner Sam is knowledgeable and helpful and is an Austin native. Everything you need is conveniently located in this small but well stocked store. It is always a pleasure to stop in.
