Overall, I agree with those who find this store in need of cleaning and upkeep. But far more disturbing is the fact that the fish and seafood department sells fish beyond the expiration date!!! That is totally disgusting and I believe illegal due to safety concerns. I was there on 11/26/16 and there were 2 packaged items dated 11/24/16 in the counter with a "whoo" markdown. They should have been in the garbage and marked down a day or two before the expiration -- as other Kroger stores do. In addition, I pointed out to the man behind the counter that one of the packages had a hole poked in it (about 1" square). He took the package and added more shrink wrap to cover it!! How sad. After the package upgraded he started to walk toward the counter to put it back! Immediately, I told him that I thought it was totally disgusting that he would put it out again after the fish sat out exposed to germs and bacteria. He said, "oh, I was going to put it in the garbage". Sure -- like I believe that, especially after he double wrapped it and headed to the counter which was the opposite direction of the garbage!! In summary, I would only go to this store in a desperate moment and definitely never recommend a store with sketchy food practices that could be a consumer risk. Shame on you Krogers on Port Royal ... remember Harris Teeters in Brentwood that sold outdated meat!!

The personal product I wanted was locked in a plastic box, apparently just since the last time I purchased it, so I tried a different one, that was strangely much more expensive (makes total sense so far, right?) The self serve line register hung and the attendant was busy gabbering with the previous customer, so I went to the next register and it hung as well. I finally got the attention of the attendant, which I did NOT want to do, as I was getting a personal product, remember?, and the next item hung as well... watermelon? seriously? take it off the scale and rescan it? ok....Ill just ask this little boy over here to hold my crutches. Cantaloupe made me take it back out of the bag to enter the quantity and the two liter scanned without me knowing after I got the watermelon back out. Needless to say, they lost a sale. Publix is right next to where I work. I Ragequit this store!

I think this is a pretty average Kroger location. Good selection of quality products at fair prices. I still prefer Publix, mostly because Publix has sub sandwiches made to order (with optional online ordering!). They would earn a fifth star if they could have actually have baskets at the south entrance more than 1 out of 10 visits. The basket holder is empty almost every time while the north entrance, where they get stocked after checkout, has TWO HUGE STACKS. All it would take is for an employee to move one stack to the other entrance every once in a while. How management never notices that or doesnt notice me carrying my empty basket past everyone working up front to put it in the empty south basket holder as I walk out at least once per week is beyond me.

On Saturday evening I went to this Kroger for a few items, especially a pound of shrimp. There was no worker behind the counter, but as I walked up I could see a worker in the back through the window. He saw me but continued to talk to whoever was in the back. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for him to come out but he didnt. Another couple approached the counter and he still didnt come out. 5 minutes later he came out the back but proceeded to help the other couple before even addressing me. The other couple was white and I am black. He looked at me but didnt say a word. Dont know if this was racially motivated or just pass poor service but I wont be patronizing them again. At the end of the day green is the only color that matters.

I dont like to leave negative reviews, but Ive had really frustrating pharmacy experiences two days in a row. It took two hours from the prescription being called in to be filled, and while I was there waiting they tried to say it hadnt been called in. When I got the doctors office on the phone, they magically found it. Today, same thing. I thought I learned my lesson, gave them plenty of time, then called to check on it THREE HOURS later. The response, after being on hold for 7 minutes, was "Ok, I found it. When do you want it filled?". I wanted it filled when you received it, same as yesterday. Were talking antibiotics from the pediatrician for strep, people.

Worst store ever! Cant keep products in stock and on shelves. Has been this way since I moved here in early 2015. Emailed corporate only to be told it is because they dont have enough room in back to store stuff and only get truck on Monday or Tuesday. You would think they could get another truck on Friday?!?! Bad management in the ordering department!!

This Kroger is generally clean and usually has what I need. Their produce section is a bit lacking sometimes, but over all they have what you need. The employees are nice, but they dont talk to you much. I never really have to wait in a line to check out so my trips to this Kroger are fast and easy.

Kroger offers a store brand other competitive prices. They offer store coupons to frequent shoppers and offer fuel points with each purchase. The staff is decent (lots of high school kids) and generally helpful. 4 out of 5 because Ive seen wild birds in the building.

When I moved here, this Kroger was almost like a Publix, but as time has progressed, they have drastically reduced their selection and quality. Also, they move product around too often. Everytime I come here, I have to figure out where everything is, again.

The store is great for grocceries. I recommend getting a member card for the additional discounts. The bakery usually has fresh foods out and a discounted managers special table. The gas station is difficult to drive through and get a spot. Tight fit.

A well kept clean grocery store with a lot of healthy and international choices not found elsewhere. Store brands are good and the deli is very good. Lots of organic choices, vegetarian choices, gluten free, and other healthy choices.

Was out of 2 items needed. I thought Krogers always has things. Will go back to my home town to shop - they are usually out of items too. Just do not have to travel to experience out of stock items as discovered tonight.

It is a perfect example of every Krogers basically everywhere. Why Google wanted a chain grocery rated is a mystery, but here you go. It is a competent and functional grocery store which is thankfully open all night.

This store is always poorly stocked. And when they dont have what I need on the shelf they are unwilling to go get it out of the back! Specifically, Deer Park water!! I know they arent completely out!!!
