First, I love the the products and service at Fresh Market. My issue is that nearly everytime....seriously, almost everytime there is a price on my receipt that is HIGHER than the price on the the shelf with the product. I usually just let my receipt be emailed, so when I later review I find a product that I actually paid at least $1 more for than it was marked. ALWAYS! It happened again last night. I bought some of the prepared deli salads. One was marked $6.99 lb on the salad bowl. I watched as the helped set it up on the scale and it registered $7.99 lb. I stopped him and he tried to over-ride the priceing but couldnt. He went to get another working back there and she said that the price had increased, but they just had not changed the label. I told her that was not a correct way to do folks. They went then to get a manager who came and looked at the price on the salad and then sold it to me for the $6.99 lb. He apologized. Just now when I looked at my emailed receipt, I fouind there was a pizza I bought (Fresh Market brand) that was marked $4.99 on the self at the store but rang up $5.99 on my reciept. Last week, I bought a ready made spinach salad that had $6.99 marked on it, but when I got my emailed receipt it said I paid $7.99. This is HIGHLY inappropriate. Someone needs to get on this immediately.

As of today I am done with this store. I went to buy asparagus and it was advertised for $3.99 a pound. I picked up a bunch and weighed it and It was a half pound. It should have been about around two dollars. When I checked out I was charged five dollars. They claim the sign was for something else. I told the cashier that when I see a sign in front of a product I expect that it is the price for that product. No one offered to go back and check the sign or offer to help me. So I told them I didnt want it and left. I went to Publix and bought a pound of asparagus for 2.99. Another time I was in the store and I could not find anyone to check me out. I thought that was extremely odd. I also noticed that every single time Im in that store there is never anyone working in the produce section. I know that this is a case of poor management. I used to shop at fresh market all the time in Crystal Lake Illinois and never had any of these problems. Yes the prices were high but the service was outstanding. This is not the case in the store in Hendersonville. I really wanted the store to be successful because I was so happy when it first opened. But I just cannot put up with this kind of stuff repeatedly.

I was very excited about Fresh Market coming to Hendersonville. Well lets just call it not so Fresh Market, besides higher prices on everything, actually dont mind it if it goes along with quality. But they are 0-3 in the bread game. croissants, baguette and loaf were stale the next day. Preprepared salmon, dry, celery generally last over a week, theres 2 days later looked rotten whole roasted chicken dry. I think theyre holding their stock for as long as they can and the quality is suffering. Today rock hard bread on my panini. Tried it 3-4 times same result. So if you like high prices with low quality go there. Be careful

Our home away from home. My 3 year old son Riley says Cindy is his best friend. Excellent customer service. Excellent coffee and baked goods. Very fresh produce and meats and flowers. We shop for all of our groceries here now! Cant wait until the wine makes its way to the store!! We love the classical music that plays and enjoy coming at least twice per week!

This store is an enigma. They have a wonderful selection of quality foods, but lacking vegan products. A nice selection of prepared foods and vast cheese section. The checkout area is awkward. It seems like the store wants to be health food oriented but falls short with lack of focus.

Over priced and horrible quality. Yes they carry specialty items but the quality of meat is low and the produce lacks flavor. Gs meats and more in Hendersonville delivers excellent quality grass fed beef at lower cost. Produce at publix is lower and fresher.

Great shopping experience. The LITTLE BIG MEALS are phenomenal. We go in to get one each week. Then spend a ton more just looking at the great options. We have eaten from the salad bar and deli there and have never been disappointed. Love Fresh Market.

Risen in my liking just recently. Actually had real service at the cheese section! Wish there were more choices and someone very knowledgeable about pairing wine and cheese. At least they offered a tasting this time. Things are looking up here !

Love their fresh meats and produce. Great idea- the little big meal deal. Fresh ingredients for a meal you can prepare at home to feed 4 people for an affordable price. So much better for your family than fast food.

To me its just as good as Whole foods. Wifes favorite is their egg rolls, I love the take away Sushi. (got to trust your store if your doing raw fish, and I do). What brings me there is the hard cheese selections.

No one ever answers phone in meat or seafood departments. I come from Bowling Green Ky So it would be convenient to know if my main purchase is available! You just lost a customer and probably many others.

Best feature of their store are the weekly meals. Also amazing game selection in the dairy and bakery department. Staff is super nice and helpful:) On the down side prices are a little higher than others.

Love their coffee bean selection - best in town. Only place Ive found nearby where we can grind the beans on site for our French Press. Nice sushi selection and good variety of cheeses, too.

I do not live in Hendersonville, so I do not shop here often. I LOVE this store. Quick grab lunches and great produce at hand. Would definitely recommend this location to everyone.

Outside of the prices, there really isnt a better grocery store in Hendersonville. Every single thing we purchase from here is delicious. The chocolate danish is a family favorite!
