Bought a car with a newer (6mo old) battery from Advance. I didnt have the receipt and they refused to exchange or do anything other than sell me a new one. Auto Zone will look at the date stamps on batteries and swap with no problems if its within warranty.

My favorite auto parts store. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Loyalty program has good rewards. Apparently they dont do computer checks anymore, which sucks.
