Very unimpressed with this store. The full story is below, but tl;dr the employees who work there dont seem properly trained for working at a high-end makeup store, they blame the customer for problems they encounter, the managers in turn blame their employees instead of trying to fix the problem, and they all seem poorly informed and give conflicting information. The selection is also picked-over, with many items out of stock -- maybe acceptable for a Dollar Tree, but not a luxury store. Sephora is letting their brand be tarnished by associating it with this level of customer service. I went there 2 days ago to spend a giftcard that was only good at a Penneys Sephora, not at a freestanding Sephora store. When I got there, the items that I wanted to get were sold out, even though they had been listed as available on the website using the "locate in store" feature. Their entire selection was very picked over, with many displays sitting empty and a large proportion of products out of stock. No one greeted me when I came in or offered help when I was clearly wandering around looking for something -- I had to track down an employee, and when I told her I had driven all the way there because the website said my items were in stock, she basically said it was my fault for not having called to ask. In that case, why have a "locate in store" feature on the website? The sales associate told me that since my items werent in the store, she could have them shipped to my house. I paid for the items with the giftcard and got a receipt. The next day the transaction was cancelled without my being notified. The manager I spoke to on the phone about this told me that its not possible to have out-of-stock items shipped to your house and pay for them with a giftcard, even though Sephora offers this service with all other payment methods. Why? And if thats the case, why did the transaction apparently go through the first time? The manager blamed this on the employee who rang me up. (If youre a store manager, the buck stops with you, not your employees.) When I told this manager that the store selection was poor and everything I wanted was sold out, she responded "well, its the holidays." I dont find this level of service acceptable at a high-end makeup store that charges $30 for a lipstick. I have received conflicting information from every employee Ive talked to and encountered a "If you dont like it, its your problem" attitude," and been left unable to spend a giftcard that the gift-giver already paid in cash for! Ive been shopping at freestanding Sephora stores for 10 years and never had a problem or reason to complain. Id advise people to stay away from the ones inside Penneys, or at least this one. Unprofessionally run & unpleasant to shop in.

I am HIGHLY upset with this place right now. Ive been a customer of Sephora for several years. Im even a VIB member. I came in the store tonight on - January 30, 2016, at 8:40pm to just get a couple of samples because I was wanted to try a new skin care product and I always try them out first before buying since I have sensitive skin. Anyways, I walked right on in and told a young female employee why I was there and needed some samples. She told me it would be just a moment. I looked around in the store and no one was there. I was the only customer. She continued to talk to the other female employee, as I stood there looking at her for almost 20 minutes. She wasnt doing anything but talking to the other employee. I am so mad. They both were literally not doing anything. And they close at 9pm, which it was 9pm when I walked out. Unbelievable. I have never been treated like this by a Sephora employee, also never ever have experienced such disrespect in customer service! I will be contacting corporate. This girl needs to be fired! I am so mad.

They gave me free samples of a lot of stuff I got free concealer but one thing I would not recommend buying is the sephora collection of eyeshadow pallets ( sunbleached filter eyeshadow pallet) wasnt very happy at all with that no color what so ever and no pigment but they also had great customer service and they greeted me when I came in and fast workers and fast check out AMAZING

The employees were so sweet and helpful and even when I asked for cheaper recommendations they helped gladly and didnt judge or become rude about it. They were also so sweet and helpful to my teenage daughter.

Do not go to this place. They "matched my skin tone " and the foundation that I paid a lot of money for is useless because it is WAY to dark for me. I will never buy from here again.
