Be careful make sure you check that all your items ring up the price they advertise. I have had numerous times where the price rang up higher. Then you have to bring it to their attention, then wait for them to go find where the item is and make the price correction. I have been right everytime. At Kroger, if it happens, they give you the item for free. Food City is not interested in doing that. I will not shop there anymore, its been happening for years and happening too often.

A cheaper version of Winn-Dixie. They could expand on their Hispanic ethnic food aisle though. I mean if youre looking for "Hispanic" food with the Goya brand on it youre better off going elsewhere. If you are a savvy shopper like most are the exact same items with it the brand are sold cheapie in store. And if you get a Food city card you save sooo much money. I bought $100 worth of groceries for only $70.

Me and my wife retired here from CT a year and a half ago. What a difference. You ask an employee for help and they go out of their way.. It may not be the classiest store in town however Id rather go there than Kroakers. Just a mellow place. If you want to be a super shopper I would suggest a little from all the grocery stores..,...taking advantage of sales. Frankly I am not that passionate.

Not at all like our Food City at home... Stood in line at the only open register for a good long waste of time. (All the self-checkouts were closed). At least there were plenty of employees getting caught up on the latest gossip, so I suppose it was somewhat productive for some.

I like the new salad bar and the hot food Bar, they are nice and well kept. The hot bar seems reasonable but the salad bar gets expensive fast so I only bought one salad instead of the two I came in for and shared : (

I agree with the other person, I have had many times a price ring up higher. Then they give you attitude like youre inconveniencing them because you caught them trying to cheat you

Prices are higher than Kroger on most deli items. I bought a small container of mini sandwichs and the same exact sandwiches at Kroger were over 2 dollars cheaper
