This is a very poorly managed coffee shop. I dont expect it to remain in business for long. After placing my order this morning, I found what I received was not what I had ordered. I took it back to the counter and the server replace the order with what I had originally ordered. Upon returning to my seat, I looked at my receipt an noticed they had charged me for the ingredient I didnt order. I returned to the counter and asked why. She told me she heard me order the disputed ingredient and charged me accordingly. With a great deal of attitude she refunded me the difference but continued to dispute the order. I asked to speak with a manager and she then informed me she was the manager? Again, she was extremely impudent. I suggested that she wasnt representing Lassiters very well and asked to know who she reported to. She informed me that she was going to tell me. She then informed me that the young lady that took my order was "just" a college student and then said, "Ok, were sorry, were sorry, were sorry!" Exasperated, I said, "youre not acting like a manager" and that her attitude was inappropriate ... I had come it to get a cup of coffee and a snack and this was bullshit. She took offense to my comment, told me to leave and informed she was going to call the police. The police! For an order dispute? What is wrong with this picture? All I wanted was for Lassiters to fulfill my order and charge me accordingly. What I got was an impudent little girl telling me she had a right to dispute my order and charge me the difference. Oh, by the way, she was laughing it up with another customer and seemed disturbed that I had questioned her while she was otherwise engaged with this young man. She further said she had a right to have fun while she worked. I didnt get her name but she was an attractive young blond. Actually, this was not my first time there and I was supprised and distressed to hear this diatribe coming from her. Actually, I feel terrible this happened. I only hope her management intercepts this message and works with her attitude. I was sincerely NOT trying to escalate this simple matter ... She apparently thought her job gave her athority rather than responsibility for decent service.

I love the atmosphere here. Very quaint and friendly. Its closest local competitor, Inman St Coffeehouse, is a great shop, but the atmosphere is very different. Lasaters has a warm atmosphere with both, traditional and creative, coffee drinks. The food was decent, but Id be lying if I thought it was special. That being said, I dont think its why you would go. I moved away from Tennessee, but I do miss this place a little bit.

If you get a drink that doesnt meet your satisfaction, you wont be treated with kindness. They gave me a hard time. Another thing that bothered me is, their lattes are cheaper than other places but they only put in one espresso shot. Of course, you can have another but it will up the price. Normal size lattes call for two shots. I havent been back since my last latte a few months ago .

This is, by far, the best coffee shop I have ever been to. The staff is outstanding and very friendly. They welcome me with a huge smile and great attitude every time I get the chance to visit. I would recommend this coffee shop, above all others, to everyone who visits Cleveland, TN.

I love trying new coffee places but Im always iffy on what to expect. Im pleasantly surprised to say the blended coffee I had was one of my favorite ever! It was much cheaper than Starbucks & had way more flavor. Im hooked!

Excellent coffee shop , tons of space, reasonably priced, great coffee taste / selection, and excellent atmosphere. Only complaint is that its often hot in here in the middle of the day. Wish they would turn up the AC :)

Coffee and food is good. Coffee is a little pricey as local places go, but not that different from Starbucks. Plus, the great atmosphere and friendly staff make it worth the extra dollars.
