Walmart is always cheaper and faster. These guys texted me, saying my prescription was done when it wasnt. The prescription was $8 without insurance, but because the insurance wasnt covering it that day, they didnt fill it. I ended up waiting for a very long time. They didnt like my attitude so they called me disruptive. Yes people are going to be mad when you text them that you have their prescription, but you dont. My entire family usually gets their flu shots and prescriptions here. Well, not anymore. Especially after I found out they have the most shady sources for their flu shots. If youre going to get a flu shot here anyway, remember that out of the billions they will make off these flu shots, theyre only giving 10 million dollars- or approximately 1 million total shots- in the give a shot program. So when you get a shot youre probably not going to be giving one. In addition to that lie, they use mercury preservatives.

Pharmacists are not friendly. The Walgreens on Madison ave has very helpful and friendly staff. Every time I go to this Walgreens, I leave feeling horrible. The last time I bought sudafed I was warned that my I.D. Would be scanned and monitored in a very accusatory/warning way. Today I had a lost prescription I called up there and thought I left it in the window maybe and drove off bc I was in a hurry. The woman made me feel as if she thought I was just blowing smoke up her butt. Unfortunately, she was the pharmacist! I called back (once I found my meds of course) and I told her how she made me feel. Theyve done this to family members and friends and they just give everyone a hard time. Very judgmental and snooty staff. Worse Ive ever experienced!!!! Go to the one on Madison ave if you want to be treated with any respect.

This is, without QUESTION, the worst excuse for a store I have ever experienced. They are open 24-hours, but should go ahead and lock up, go home & save us all the trouble of having to deal with complete idiots. Other than this, they are incredible. Big, nice store, incredible movie renting box outside. They make up their own rules - while not having the decency to react in a timely fashion when "their rules" could be in effect. Do yourself a favor and keep on truckin!! This place sucks. Not sure if you understand yet, but try for yourself!

Brett went above and beyond to get my scripts worked out due to the ignorance and laziness of my (former) doctors office. The actions of my Doctors office has me not returning there. Brett went beyond the call of duty and worked out a prescription by calling and following up with the doctors office. Thank you!

Greedy, Slow, Impersonal. I go all the way to Rite-Aid in Etowah. No good Pharmacy in Athens and there are 2 Walgreens in this Town. Rite-Aid Please come to Athens. Rite-Aid gets these Stars. Screw Walgreens
