BUYERS BEWARE !!!! READ THIS FIRST!! The woman that owns this pawn shop is probably the one writing all the good reviews. I personally have been buying from pawn shops for almost 20 years because of the fact that they really are a good place to find slightly used power tools usually well under retail for new. I went to this shop for the first time and I was ASTONISHED at the prices they had on all of their inventory. They had used PlayStation 3 controllers for 49.99 when u can buy them BRAND NEW at bestbuy for 39.99. As I looked around at their tools and used my phone to compare prices on the internet I was SHOCKED by how much over RETAIL she was asking for everything in the store. I was looking at a specific tool that is hard to come by used, but after checking multiple websites I realized I could purchase it for over 100.00 less than her asking price compared to BRAND NEW! When I tried to bring this to her attention she quickly snatched the item out if my hand and told me "I know where to get my prices." Well obviously she doesnt because EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING was over retail. This was a 200.00 digital measuring device and she wouldnt even let me inspect it to make sure it was functioning properly. In the thousands of pawn shops Ive bought from nationwide, Ive never had an owner tell me I couldnt inspect the item before I purchased it. Some more examples- Dewalt drills that are 99.00 new at Lowes shes asking 169.00, BRAND NEW Corded Dewalt reciprocating saw- 119.00 at Lowes and 199.00 in her shop all beat up and used. She was very rude and all she offered to do was sell me the used item for the same price I could by it new, which of course I passed, telling her I would rather by new for cheaper (including shipping) and I would never return to her shop. By far the WORST pawn shop Ive been in, in my entire life and Ive been in tons of them! BUYERS BEWARE THIS WOMAN IS RUDE AN IN MY OPINION IS TRYING TO RIP OFF UNEDUCATED BUYERS. DONT LET HER GET YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY THAT YOU COULD SAVE BUYING SOMEWHERE ELSE! JUST A WARNING TO POTENTIAL BUYERS! HOPE THIS HELPS.

I went in today to try and pawn a couple of my electronics to come up with the remaining funds($55) to rent a uhaul for a move today. I went here based on the customer service reviews on google and more specifically from the owner, Ms. Cook. I truly believed I would walk out with a great feeling to have came up with something extra for the uhaul. As I began the process, i already felt a "unwelcoming" vibe from the store. The only person who spoke/addressed me was the lady who serviced me.(african american female with glasses). Even when I approached the counter and another gentlemen was causally eating a lunch order directly across from me. The lady who helped me said that she already knew she couldnt nothing with one of my items. Dont know how based on a visual(potentially could have sold faster than most items I seen). She then fielded a called and began assisting someone on the phone about a compressor. Working retail/hospitality, I learned this is a big "negative". This made me feel my business already not sufficient enough for them opposed to someone who was not even present in person. At that point my morale dropped a little more. She then hung up and said that she looked in their system for my other item and could not find it and without the packaging and something else she could not do anything with it. I politely said thank you and left. But at that point, I walked out the store feeling that I was not helped because I may have been seen as have stolen the items or something. I am not going to say that was the intention on her side but as a potential customer/ consumer, thats how I felt walking out the door, defeated possibly because of a pre-judging that led to the idea that I was not credible to do business. I will not return nor refer any business here based on my experience today.

I can personally say Ive known the owner of this pawn shop a majority of my whole life and the words coming out of that guys mouth are Lies. That woman is nothing but nice to her customers and she would never do anything to rip anyone off. She is the most caring and considerate person Ive ever met, and for someone to judge her off meeting her one time and write some stupid review online is ridiculous. I never had the proper mother or father figure in my life until she came into my life and she took me in as one of her own without thinking twice and she had no obligation to do so, but she has the biggest heart on earth and she did. Thanks to her I am working hard to succeed in life and without her God knows where Id be. So think twice before you believe that dumb junk that guy is writing. And trust me if you knew her. Youd know she wouldnt take the time to write a bunch of fake positive reviews. So dont let him fool you.

This is my go-to place for jewelry for my wife. The lady who runs the shop is always very friendly and helps out on the price when something Im looking at is a little out of my budget. Something that would cost about $600 at the jewelry store runs around $200 there. More importantly, she has a lot of really old unique jewelry. I can get that on eBay, but here its about half price and I can hold it in my hand while Im deciding. I saw the negative review and though Ive never bought tools there, I cant say I blame the woman for reciprocating the way she apparently did when the reviewer was complaining about prices. If someone came in my shop and started running customers off based on a few outdated prices, I might get a little defensive too. This obviously gives the reviewer the benefit of the doubt that he was a real customer and not a competitor or someone who is sour because he couldnt pay his loan.

Two horrible experiences with this place. First one they told mue my gold was fake and i took it to two other places that confirmed it was real and said these people are amateurs. Needless to say i sold my gold to one of the places for $1345. The most recent time i took some antique coins in which came directly from the United States mint and they told me my coins were fake bc they didnt weigh right. No silly your business doesnt weight right and yall are some characters. Laughing stock of pawn brokers. Dont take your valuables to this place bc they will tell you it is fake but if you go right dowm the street the real pawn brokers will tell you the truth.
