Years ago I always wore red wing work boots, always got them from the store on 291 in Greenville SC, but they had some quality issues a few years back and I stopped. Couldnt get a pair to last me more than six months. I worked in a plant then on a concrete floor normal use. Went in to the new store off of Haywood rd the other day to see what they had now, WOW! Looks like they got their act together. Great selection and service from the guy running the store. They measure both of your feet and do it manually. They also have the insert measuring machine like the Dr. Scholls but you can tell its way more in depth on the measuring. Also red wing has this deal as long as the leather is good on the boots you can get them resoled by red wing for a hundred bucks. They send them in put them on the assembly line with the new boots and resole them. So I bought a pair with the inserts, talk about a couple of dogs singing man, the feel good right out the box. Im wearing red wing boots again and my feet, legs, knees and back are feeling great again. I could tell when I put these on the quality was there again like I used to get from red wing.

I highly recommend buying your next pair of boots from Red Wing Greenville on Haywood Road. There is definitely something to be said about the quality and craftsmanship that go into each pair, but this review is about the store. The experience is similar to the type of experience many of us had when we went to by shoes as a kid. The store is very clean and organized and they carry a large selection of styles and sizes. When you enter, youre spoken to, and while shopping, youre attended to.........but not in a way that makes you want to say "Leave me alone please." My experience was with Chris. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about Red Wings and even reconditioned a pair of boots Ive had for several years. The people here care about what they do and they care about their customers. Top notch ownership and management. Thanks again.

I grew up with red wing. My parents both worked for Boeing and need good shoes that last. The product is nothing new to me, but what I was pleased about was the service. The man and woman that own/run this store are very knowledgeable about the shoes and about making sure what your buying is exactly what you want. I love the new location and the owners are wonderful and kind. 5 stars hands down. I wouldnt go anywhere else to get work boots.

Great experience. They acually measured my feet and matched me up with a perfect fit. It has been years since my feet have felt this good. They just earned a customer for life. I would EXTREMELY RECOMEND GOING TO THIS STORE FOR THE EXPERIENCE OF A FULL SERVICE SHOE STORE. I cant say enough of how well I was treated, I did not think that this kind of service existed today in a shoe store. Great job guy.

I was managing an auto shop, and my feet were killing me. I was always on a hard shop floor. I went to the Redwing store and they were able to get me a size that fit, with an orthotic that made my work days much more comfortable. They are also able to order anything that Redwing manufactures, so the selection is not limited to what they have in store. High quality products and a friendly, educated staff.

I learned a long time ago, boots are like a lot of products, "pay double and get 5 times the quality". The Knowledgeable staff was a bonus for my latest Red Wing purchase. They sent my existing pair in to be re-soled and had my size and model in stock for my new purchase. They even installed toe protectors while I waited. You get what you pay for. I wont go anywhere else for my boots.

Zoned Out

Went into the store and met Chris, and what an amazing sales and support member! He helped me find what I was looking for in just a few minutes, and showed me what I had been wearing really wasnt the best for me. They have an awesome selection of both boots and shoes, and a good looking foot support inventory as well. Ill definitely be sticking with Red Wing from now on!

Superb service! These guys are super friendly and taught me a lot about different types of footwear. I am around a lot of technology and require ESD compliant shoes to prevent static-shock damage to electronics. I am a firm believe you get what you pay for, and Red Wings quality shows that.
