Although it was a busy day, me and my family, decided to wait the twenty minutes for our table and have lunch. I am 21, my sister who was with me is 19, and my girlfriend is 22. Although we are young, both me and my sister have been in the service industry since the age of 15. As a head server at a country club in the area, I was displeased with our server. I was never introduced to my server and as whole came to my table 4 times: when she brought my drinks that another server made and took our order, dropped our order off, brought back ketchup, and dropped off check. When she dropped off the check, I had to ask for dessert and when she finally brought the dessert, I waited 3 to 4 minutes to eat it because she did not bring me silverware. My sister had to tag her down in order to bring that. I was given a dirty glass for a refill of diet coke. She never came back to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. All the while, I could see her attending to tables across the room with much concentration and attentiveness. I will not proclaim I have been discriminated against because of our young age or because I am a lesbian, but I will say that no one in my party felt comfortable or even appreciated as customers being that. If a server shows a little of care and effort, I usually tip well over twenty percent. As a server, I understand what a good tip means to a hard worker. This will be my last trip at Cracker Barrel. Yes, the facility is nice, the store is entertaining but the staff does not have it. Servers walked back and forth past my table, never offering to help or just ask if we were ok. The manager steered clear of anyone in the dining room, only to see if there were open tables and then to briskly leave. I am completely dissatisfied and the only way this problem could be solved is better staff training on time management and making the customer the priority. Before even going into the restaurant, I acknowledged it would be busy and figured it would take a while for the food, but just not pleasing the customers that walk in the door will assure that once they walk out, they wont come back.

Ate dinner here on 03/11/2017. I ordered haddock and had sides of salad, rice pilaf and hashbrown casserole. It was all excellent, especially the haddock which was super fresh tasting and just lightly coated - and very large. Husband ordered reuben sandwich platter and a small chicken noodle soup. Unfortunately, the rye bread had caraway seeds in it (which he does not like), so he just ate the inside. The remainder of his meal was fine and the soup was like homemade. Staff friendly and efficient. Would definitely eat here again.

For just a little more than places like Chipotle, you get a sit down meal for the "comfort food" that is good quality. The value for money is outstanding and it seems like Cracker Barrel is around the places on the highway you want to stop. We happened at the Florence location just north of Florence on I-95. It was Monday at 1:30 pm and the place was very crowded - a good sign. The service was very good and the food was also very good. If you are looking for a place to stop and relax a bit on your long drives, this is a good place.

People who came in after us and ordered after we did got their food first. The Chicken Livers were s hard could not eat them. Then microwaved another set to thaw them out then deep fried them some were still hard. Why would a company that is suppose to be about home cooking making thing fresh has frozen food when it would be so much better taste and quality if fresh. A convenience store 5 miles away makes theirs with fresh or at least pre-thawed and battered fresh. Tells you something about them.

We were second guessing our choice of stopping here because of the reviews, but honestly it was the best cracker barrel experience Ive ever had! Our waitress was Roxanne and she was quick, attentive, and sweet. My husband had one of their dinner plates and as sides got green beans, cheese grits and hash brown casserole. When his meal came out it had double green beans and hash brown casserole instead. Roxanne quickly went to the kitchen and fixed the small issue. Awesome place. Awesome staff!

We usually stop at this location when we are on a road trip and always have a good experience. Everyone is friendly, food is consistent with what you expect from Cracker Barrel, and the service is pretty quick. This time our waitress seemed distant and tired, but it was the day after Christmas so I cant really blame her. In this specific location, the dinning room is on the opposite end of the building from the other locations weve been to, so dont let it trick you when you get inside.

After waiting 20 mins for table our name was called. We get to the hostess and she tells us they just gave our table to a different group whose name was similar to ours. Within 2 mins another host calls our name and while we are standing there and says we will have to wait because our table was giving away. WOW NO communication. When we finally get a table another 20 mins to get food. We love Cracker Barrel but will never eat at this one again. No communication and awful service.

Rice overcooked., fried cat fish for my youngest son? hated it. tasted bad. my meatloaf was decent. now after i refilled the big brown bag with most of the food, ready to throw in garbage yes a real cockroach came out of the brown bag. this all for over $60.00 Terrible and shamefull!!!

Couldnt cook a hamburger right! Asked the waitress to make it medium and when I got my food the "thing" was dry and overcooked to the extreme. It looked like it had been on the heater for hours. The place doesnt look that great and the service was horrible. We asked for extra dishes to share and were told that they didnt have extra dishes...Whatttt? If anything, the corn muffins they brought to the table prior to the food were good.

Ordered 2 salads and 2 kids chicken dinners and biscuits and muffins. Salads full of rotten lettuce. French fries were overcooked. Why are you using deviled eggs in the salad instead of just boiled eggs? Did not give us the biscuits and muffins we ordered! Overall the entire order was awful!! This was a carryout order. We live near this cracker barrell and are regular customers, but not so sure we will return!

I dont give many 5s especially to a chain. This one reflects the action a manager took to tactfully move a costomer who was conducting a business call at the hostess station. She was frozen in place unsure of what to do. The manager took over directing the man to follow a server, and off he went still talking. Never realizing how rude and inconsiderate he had been. Great job by the manager.
